VIDEO: TB Joshua fires back over controversial Sierra Leone testimony

Mrs Fatmata Edna Kargbo, Sierra Leone, Tb Joshua, scoan, the president

After news was widely circulated that a Sierra Leonean government official was ‘sacked’ following her testimony at T.B. Joshua’s church, the Nigerian cleric has responded by releasing a video of the lady’s controversial testimony.

International media outlets such as CNN reported the story of Mrs Fatmata Edna Kargbo, the Chief Protocol Officer of President Julius Maada Bio, whose testimony of ‘God’s blessings in her life’ after visiting Joshua’s church in Lagos, Nigeria, sparked public concern in Sierra Leone.

Kargbo was invited for questioning by the nation’s anti-corruption agency after insinuations were rife at the speed of her apparent rise in wealth.

However, Joshua’s television channel, Emmanuel TV, released the video of Kargbo’s actual testimony, which she shared on Sunday 21stJuly 2019.

According to Kargbo, after visiting The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) – “the house I constructed for 10 years without finishing – in exactly 14 years, I was able to complete it through the grace of God!”

This contradicts the narrative implied by most media reports that the Sierra Leonean politician amassed excessive finances within the short timeframe of her appointment as Bio’s Chief Protocol Officer in April 2018.

The clip released on Emmanuel TV also paints Kargbo as a patriotic figure who championed the cause of her nation during the deadly Ebola outbreak in the nation in 2014.

A letter from then President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma to Joshua, requesting his assistance in the nation to battle the deadly virus, is revealed, alongside a donation of $50,000 to Sierra Leone and 4,000 bottles of ‘Anointing Water’ to help curb the spread of the disease.

Kargbo reveals she personally received the gifts from Joshua – which were sent in a private jet chartered to the tune of $50,000 – and ensured they reached the affected areas, claiming that the regions where the ‘water’ reached were later declared Ebola free.

Although most media reports claimed Kargbo had been ‘sacked’ from her job, a statement from the presidential office indicated she had only been placed on leave pending the outcome of the corruption investigation.

TB JOSHUA PULLS CHINESE CROWD TO NIGERIA!

china, scoan, tb joshua

Christians from as far afield as China have trudged in their numbers to Nigeria in search of a ‘miracle’ through the ministry of Pastor T.B. Joshua.

Despite recent reports highlighting the suppression of Christianity in Communist China, it has not deterred large groups of Chinese citizens embarking on religious tourism to Joshua’s popular Lagos-based church named The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).

On Sunday 25thAugust 2019, in Joshua’s church service broadcast on Emmanuel TV – YouTube’s most watched Christian ministry network with over 500,000,000 individual views – more than 150 Asian worshippers can be seen in the midst of the multicultural crowd.

A Chinese citizen named Shou Qiang shared a public testimony that he was ‘delivered’ from a ‘suicidal spirit’ following Joshua’s prophecy and prayers.

Accompanied by his wife and young daughter, Qiang admitted he had almost committed suicide on three occasions prior to his visit to Nigeria but that after his ‘miracle’, he no longer nursed such ‘demonic’ tendencies.

“I feel very free and calm in my heart; I am totally delivered,”he divulged in his ‘testimony’ subsequently uploaded to YouTube, adding that he now intends to ‘share the good news’ with his fellow Chinese citizens.

Recent months have seen a spike in Chinese visitors to Nigeria for the purpose of pilgrimage to Joshua’s church, with groups equally arriving from Hong Kong, Vietnam, Korea and Singapore.

Tourism experts estimate religious tourism contributes over 3% of Nigeria’s GDP, and official figures

indicate visitors to The SCOAN account for 60% of foreigners entering the nation.

According to Wikipedia, the two nations have a rich history of bilateral relations and China is considered one of Nigeria’s most important trading and export partners.

Don't Sack Any of Your Officials Based on Their Testimonies or Confessions in SCOAN

Julius Maada Bio, the president of Sierra Leone

Julius Maada Bio, the president of Sierra Leone

It has come sadly to our notice in newspapers that the President of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Julius Bio, has sacked his state chief of protocol, Edna Kargbo, following her open testimony at SCOAN Nigeria. Kargbo, like thousands of others, might have come to the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos,  (SCOAN of Senior Prophet TB Joshua), testifying to the goodness of the Lord.

The general public should endeavour to know that whereas such testimonies, especially given at SCOAN, are real and trustworthy and are for God's glory, they shouldn't be used to punish individuals giving the testimonies. These testimonies shouldn't also be used to arrest any of your staff members or tender as evidence in any legal proceedings. They are for the Church and where science cannot explain everything about God's interventions in our lives, miracles, or the deliverance from shackles of poverty, or the stronghold of Satan. In any case, if God has thoroughly blessed this individual there is nothing any president can do about it, except probably that the president may be inadvertently bringing himself down by refusing to accept the work of the Holy Spirit.

That as it may, it is equally necessary to educate the public about confessions and testimonies at most Living Church of Christ and at Christian gatherings such as in SCOAN Lagos or any of it's Crusades home or abroad. These testimonies and confessions are what the individuals perceive but truly couldn't explain why. As far as they are concerned it can only be by some supernatural forces working for them and not their merit. Hence kindly don't use their confessions to sack them nor use their past to punish them. Even in a multi-religious setting like in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana, etc, governments shouldn't intervene in Church matters in issues like this. The government that failed by its internal intelligence mechanism shouldn't have used the Church as places it could collect negative information on its officials. It is both morally and spiritually unethical.

The public should know and appreciate that individuals that pass through SCOAN's deliverance processes usually become positively changed persons and more valued resourceful persons. They would normally be able to carry more responsibility, become my reliable, more trustworthy and more dependable. They will have an excellent spirit like was in Daniel, given to them by Jesus Christ.  It is only when these expected changes are not visible in their duties that one could question them. The Jesus Christ we meet at SCOAN, or in any living Church and some are also in Sierra Leone, is big beyond our imagination and can bless not only our sister Edna Kargbo but every Sierra Leonian with bigger testimonies.

Video: How Prophet TB Joshua got Arrested in Church by a Nigerian Pastor

tb joshua, arrested, man of God

This bizarre footage – taken over two decades ago at a Lagos church – shows the extent of persecution TB Joshua has endured over the years, especially from religious groups and places of worship.

In the midst of a large congregation, this lady sensationally claims she slept with TB Joshua to give him demonic powers and made a satanic covenant with him – all the time being egged on by Nigerian Pastor Julius Babatunde Kumoluyi. The climax of the staged confession comes when TB Joshua’s ‘spirit’ allegedly descends into the church and is ‘arrested’!

After the whole ‘drama’, the same Pastor backtracks in a subsequent talkshow, admitting churches should preach salvation rather than condemnation and leave the issue for God.

“If you have not tasted persecution and humiliation, you will not be able to manage honour when it comes.” – T.B. Joshua

Blessing Omorodion
A Nigerian student in UK who gained admission into the prestigious Oxford University has acknowledged that the prayers of T.B. Joshua were instrumental to her academic breakthrough.
In the run-up to her exams, Blessing explained that “things got really tough” but she found strength through praying along with Joshua via his television network Emmanuel TV and ministering ‘Morning Water’ from his church.
In a testimony shared on Joshua’s official Facebook Page followed by 3.5 million people, a young lady named Blessing Omorodion recounted how her mother visited the cleric’s Lagos-based Church in December 2018.
“I had recently applied to the University of Oxford to study medicine, so I asked her to pray about my application. The following Tuesday after she visited The SCOAN on Sunday, I received an email stating that I got an interview and, by the grace of God, I got an offer,” she recounted.
However, the academic requirements necessary to meet the offer were rigorous. “I was required to get at least an A* and 2 As in my A-levels exams, so I knew that I would need to pray and work hard to meet these conditions,” she explained.
In the run-up to her exams, Blessing explained that “things got really tough” but she found strength through praying along with Joshua via his television network Emmanuel TV and ministering ‘Morning Water’ from his church.
“The encouraging words of Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV helped me to maintain my faith,” she testified.
According to Miss Omorodion, she even surpassed her academic expectations in the ensuing exams.
“By the grace of God, I not only met my offer but exceeded it by getting 3 A*s in my Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology A levels,” Blessing ecstatically concluded.
Her academic institution Brampton Manor took to Twitter to celebrate her achievement, with Oxford University’s official Twitter feed retweeting the announcement of her successful admission.
An article published in UK’s Sun Newspaper highlighted Blessing’s remarkable achievement, revealing she only arrived in Britain aged 15 and could barely speak English at that time.
The University of Oxford, the oldest academic institution in the English-speaking world, is renowned as one of the world’s most prestigious universities and universally ranked among the best higher learning establishments worldwide.

T.B. Joshua equally sponsored a Nigerian student, Olayinka Oduwole, for a PhD in the same institute, investing over £100,000 (N44m) in her academic pursuits. She has since graduated and now engages in pioneering research into 5G technology at the University of Surrey.
