PRAY FOR YOUR ENEMIES! Prophet TB Joshua

"The Bible says, 'I will set a table before you in the presence of your enemies'. If your enemy is not there, the table will be useless. It's good for your enemy to see what you become. What they thought you cannot become - it's good for your enemy to see. They thought you cannot become this or that - it is better they see for themselves. That may change them and win their soul! A good example of what I am talking about is we here in the church today. If we begin to examine the conscience of everyone here and look at the past - at least 50% never thought they would come here. You had a different impression about T.B. Joshua. You stood in opposition towards T.B. Joshua in the past but today, you are alive to see that he is your friend, not your enemy. If you had died then, would you be able to see this?

What is the way out? Pray for your enemy! Prayer from your heart, not from your lips. If you choose the path of praying for your enemy, you will have a great relief. Because you are running to defeat your enemy, it has taken you to many places - spiritually, physically and financially. It has caused you sleepless nights - fear, anxiety, pressure. Every bad thing that happens to you -when you have nightmare - you attribute it to your enemy. The pain you are going through - it's not your enemy that is going through it but you. Why can't you ignore your enemy and move forward? Pray for them! You are the one going through the pain.

When you begin to chase your enemies, you will automatically forget the condition in which you are - because it's not possible to look at two sides. I am going through pain that the enemy caused - and at the same time I am pursuing the enemy that caused it. I will ignore the pain. The pain will be there but how to take care of myself will be ignored. This is why our pain persists. The situation that you are supposed to go through within a week, you are on it for the past one year - because you ignore your condition and you are pursuing your enemies

The bigger your success, the bigger your enemies. Why are you wasting your time when you know it's a normal life? You go through your trial according to your position and I will go through my trial according to my position. It is our position that attracts trials. Your position in life attracts persecution. If your position is big, it will attract big trials. Big blessing will attract big trials. You don't want trials; you don't want success in life. When people talk about you - 'He is a foolish man; she is a foolish woman' - you know it's a recognition! What you are going through should not rule your life. What you are going through does not matter but what matters is whom you are."

TB Joshua Taught us to Take the Bold Step for Jesus Christ

Prophet Tb Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

After the Pentecost Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer. There at the gate of the temple they came across a certain man lame from his mother's womb begging alms. Peter and John were also candidates the lame asked an alms. But Peter fastened his eyes on the lame man and said, "Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have to give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk". Peter took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. In this wise Peter and John took a bold step for Jesus Christ. Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, always used every opportunity to take a bold step for Jesus. He made healing, giving, prophesying, teaching, etc, looked so easy. He also confronted multiple adversaries from the kingdom of darkness with simplicity and courage. Critics even thought that TB Joshua was not praying over the cases, or simply dramatizing them. There was no spirit of fear or spirit of timidity in TB Joshua for God has not given us the spirit of fear.

In the daily warfare for the kingdom of God, the Christian meets with seemingly numerous difficulties. It is an essential reminder to Christians of any generation and degree that all cowardice, all dread of danger, all shrinking from doing one's duty for fear of man's displeasure, proceeds not from the Spirit of God. From the Spirit of God proceeds the spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind.

Part of the legacy of TB Joshua is the understanding that through the grace of God, it is expected that each one he has impacted, will daily take a bold step for Jesus Christ. Our business will henceforth be going out to do exploits for God (Daniel 11:32); because we know God, we are made strong in God and we can do the exploits through the spirit of God. Already we have seen the signs that though we may not see TB Joshua physically with us but God remains our present help forever. God is our God forever and ever and He will be our guide even unto death. Ephesians (4:11-12) states that God gives to the church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers “for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ". The holy spirit will equip everyone to do the work of the ministry. Every Christian should see their main business as serving God and therefore taking a bold step for Jesus Christ Daily.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: SUCCESSION BATTLE IN THE SCOAN

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Prophet, Emmanuel TV, Anointing water
The of Prophet TB Joshua Legacy Lives On

Following the fake news that is being spread on Social Media about an alleged succession battle over who will be the next General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) since the demise of Prophet TB Joshua.

The SCOAN has now officially released a statement from their official Social Media pages to debunk the rumour to be completely false and should therefore be disregarded.

The statements make it clear that there was an instruction by the Prophet before his demise and that is what they will follow concerning how the SCOAN will be run.

This is, however, not the first time there has been circulation of fake news since the demise of Prophet T.B. Joshua about who will take over from him.

There was the news that some imaginary elders and a group of family members come together to agree to appoint the Prophet wife, Evelyn Joshua to take over as the new General overseer of The SCOAN.

This was around when the wife of the Prophet and the entire SCOAN family were still mourning and preparing for the burial celebration of the Prophet.

It is important the Public know that SCOAN is an Apostolic Ministry that is led by the Spirit of God.

The SCOAN doesn't operate by man-made conventions and theory. Every action in the SCOAN is subject to the directive of the Holy Ghost.

So also is concerning the new leadership of the SCOAN, it will not be based on public opinion, men's emotions, convention and perceptions, it will be based on the directive of the spirit of God.

We understand these are very important moments for the ministry of SCOAN.

We pray for God to grant those at the SCOAN Headquarter the grace to continue to be submissive to His perfect Will in Jesus’ Name! Amen!

Below is the SCOAN official statement:

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

“Our attention has been drawn to an article published in This Day Newspaper on Wednesday July 14th 2021 titled: 'Synagogue: Succession Battle Begins as THISDAY Interview is Cited as Evidence.'

The contents of the article regarding an alleged 'succession battle' are completely false and should therefore be disregarded. We want to inform the general public that there  is no succession battle at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN). We are sons and daughters of love and shall continue to let love lead as we follow the instructions laid down by Prophet TB Joshua.

Thank you for your prayers and support as we continue to honour the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua.”

The Burial of TB Joshua Can't End His Legacy

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Prophet, Emmanuel TV, Anointing water
Prophet TB Joshua (1963-2021)

Most of us watched the burial ceremonies of our beloved Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, from the distance. Many can't even watch because of the emotional attachment and the sweet memories shared with this great man of God. Truly Prophet TB Joshua Lives on in our hearts and in different peoples and communities he was able to impact. He was able to put a significant stamp on the future of the Christian Faith in particular and faith in general.  He made a great contribution to future missionary generations. He made people feel that their lives mattered and that every life is significant with its mission. That he was buried away has not reduced the effects of his teachings and his works. Rather his life and time have become an index, a benchmark, a biblical reference point. Unfortunately, his critics have to sit up and reflect on their missions in life, otherwise, life will sweep them away and nobody will remember them.

A Bible verse we'd learned from Sunday School as a song is Romans 10 verse 9. Romans 10:9. It says that "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved". Prophet TB Joshua expanded on it to mean that, "There is power in your mouth, the belief in your heart, realized by faith...". He was able to accomplice many miracles holding to this biblical principle.

Prophet TB Joshua also introduced many powerful spirit-lifting songs. One of them is that "Sin Power Over Me is Broken". This has become a popular lyric and translated into many languages and dialects. It will live on forever as part of songs of encouragement and life assurance. Nobody can take this away from TB Joshua by their wired wishful conspiracy theory thinking. The prophet is leaving us with many writings, songs, teachings, and evangelical lifestyle that touches the sinners and common people on the streets. The institutions he built are rational, accessible and affordable to the entire human race.

We have been praying to God to give us the strength to accept this death as coming from Him because just as Jesus matters to the human race, entire Palestine and the Jews in it so has Prophet TB Joshua brought renewed light of Jesus Christ's teaching. In the coming days, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, the bigger legacy of TB JOSHUA will become much more widespread and real. His disciples will prove this through the promise of the Father when they are clothed with power from on high, (Luke 24:49).

DIGNITARIES’ PAYS FINAL RESPECT AS TB JOSHUA REMAINS LAID TO REST

TB Joshua Legacy, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

The remains of Prophet TB Joshua was interred yesterday, 10th July 2021 in the premises of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Ikotun, Lagos State, after week-long funeral rites, activities tagged: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Prophet Joshua (1963 to 2021) – Not Mine But God’s Own.

Thousands of Faithfull from different races, cultures and countries who attended the interment service described the Prophet as a man who lived for God and humanity.

One of the high of the internment was when a lady under the influence of the Holy Ghost prophesied just after the remains of the Prophet was being taken inside the SCOAN Auditorium saying “He is so powerful; he said I should tell you that he is not dead; he is around you all, he said you should not be afraid, he is with you…” and the congregation shouted, Amen!!

Dignitaries who witnessed the colourful interment included Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu; Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan; Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs; Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State; Dame Patience Jonathan, wife of Former President Good Luck Jonathan; Mr Anofiu Elegushi; Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II represented by his wife, Olori Silekunola Naomi; a delegation from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN); Bashorun Dele Momodu, CEO/ Publisher, Ovation magazine; Chief David Lyon, former governorship candidate in Bayelsa State; Mr Zaied Abdalla, from Israel were among dignitaries that were in attendance when Prophet TB Joshua remains was laid to rest in the SCOAN.

The first Bible reading was taken from First Corinthians 15: 51 – 57 and was read by Governor Akeredolu, after which Bishop Stephen Ogedengbe of the Wisdom of Chapel Ministry explained the passage.

The cleric urged Christians to emulate the exemplary life of love lived by Prophet TB Joshua.

Ogedengbe said: “The character of a true believer is to find refuge in our Lord Jesus. That is why children of God are not afraid in reaching the final destination – death. Heaven is our home, our dwelling place.”

According to him, Joshua had always mentioned that those from above longed to be there.

Minister Ayoub Kara from Israel took the second Bible reading from Revelation 21: 1-7, while Pastor Robert Acosta from Argentina preached a sermon from it.

Acosta said that Christians should follow Christ “because outside Jesus there is no reality.”

He said that Joshua did so many miracles and showed much love to many people.

After the sermon, Akeredolu and the representative of Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State delivered speeches.

Sanwo-Olu told the congregation that the late prophet fulfilled his destiny on earth by living for others.

He encouraged Christians to long for the spirit of dedication as shown by the SCOAN founder.

“His life should encourage us to renew our hope in Christ. Unity, peace, progress and love should be our watchword as Christians,” he said.

He urged Christians to emulate the late prophet’s life and live in peace with everyone without discriminating.

In his speech, Akeredolu described the death of Joshua as a huge loss to the people of Ondo State, Nigeria and the world at large. He revealed that the traditional ruler of his hometown, Arigidi Akoko in Akoko North local council of Ondo State, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, had mobilised him to ensure that Joshua’s remains would be buried in the town.

He noted that Joshua contributed immensely to the emancipation of the downtrodden, orphans, widows and other less privileged people.

“Joshua remains the only person who died and market men and women closed their shops for one week in his home town. Kabiesi mobilised me for the body of Joshua to be buried in his hometown because he was convinced that we should bring the body to Arigidi. And I said to Kabiesi that our late prophet has a family and where his remains will lie is for the family to decide not for him.

“I have to let you know that prophet T.B. Joshua came from Arigidi, Ondo State. He is a Nigerian but doesn’t take it away; he is a world citizen,” he said.

Speaking on Joshua’s impact in Ondo State, he recalled that when he was first elected as the governor of the state, the prophet gave his family a huge amount of money, adding that he also paid up the electricity bills of four local councils who were in darkness for years.

“T.B. Joshua’s demise is not only a loss to Ondo State or the world, it is a loss to humanity. I am not sure we have had a world congregated in this number from different countries, probably during Nelson Mandela’s burial. But the world is more represented here than when Nelson Mandela was buried,” Akeredolu added.

After the final laying to rest of the Prophet, there was a replay of the Prophet TB Joshua Mass prayer and there were manifestations of the power of God with many falling under the influence of the Holy Ghost, vomiting poisonous substance and receiving their healings in Jesus’ name.

These brought Joy to the congregation who started singing; He is Alive Amen!! Jesus is Alive, Forever He is Alive Amen!!

PROPHET TB JOSHUA LIVES ON!

I love the ‘evil’ of Prophet T.B Joshua

TB Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

As we bury T.B Joshua today, we must not bury some of the Christ-like virtues that made him outstanding.

I kept thinking throughout the night – was this how Jesus came, performed miracles, fed the poor, healed the sick and did other good works, but the people despised, hated and killed him? I am not equating any man to Jesus, but T.B Joshua demonstrated more Christ-like virtues than many “God’s Chief Registrars, Chiefs of Staff to Jesus, Assistant God, Deputy God” parading our pulpits today as “masters of the universe”.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but were silent on his matrimonial success. He had just one wife and they were married for 31 years… This is Christ-like.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but were silent when he fed the poor, built hospitals and schools, responded to humanitarian needs on our streets… This is Christ-like.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but kept mute on his humility to board the same coastal bus with his team to go for outreaches. This is Christ-like because even Jesus Christ boarded the same boat with his disciples.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was but kept silent when he brought peace to South Sudan. He was a peacemaker. “Blessed are the Peacemakers…”. This is Chris-like.

Not until his death did I know his wife and even children because he never projected his family. His life and preachings projected Christ more than anything else.

He was Christ-like more than many of his critics whose followers know the “Man of God” than they know the God of men. Whose followers know their ‘father in the Lord’ than they know Christ.

People of the World, please show me one T.B Joshua’s enemy. The same people calling him fake have fellow brethren they call enemies. The same people calling him false prophet have fellow ‘genuine’ pastors that they are not in talking terms with. The same people calling him ‘evil’ have fellow Christians they wish death upon… Between these people and T.B Joshua, who is more like Christ?

If Prophet T.B Joshua was ‘evil’ and he healed the sick, fed the poor, built hospitals, schools and houses for the needy, brought peace to nations of the earth, then I like his kind of ‘evil.’

Rest in Peace Prophet T.B Joshua!

THE PROPHET’S FAMILY PAYS TRIBUTES TO PROPHET TB JOSHUA

Evelyn Joshua, Promise Joshua, Serah Joshua, Heart Joshua, TB Joshua Mr Brian Moshi

v  I stand here today to say thank you for choosing me, caring for me and nurturing me. Thank you for being a good father to the children, thank you for shielding me from those who were bent on soiling our lives; you were undeterred,” Evelyn said – Evelyn Joshua.

v  “Since I became more socially aware and more inquisitive about my dad’s life I realised that the implications of such lifestyle was that once he was done accomplishing what he was sent for he would be called back home to the one who sent him,” – Promise Joshua.

v  You were a great teacher, yet a good student, a lion, yet a lamb – TB Joshua son-in-law, Mr Brian Moshi.

The Wife and Children of the Prophet TB Joshua alongside other personalities on Tuesday the 6th July 2021 paid their last respects to the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN) in service of tributes held in his honour.

The service was part of the weeklong ceremony theme, Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Prophet TB Joshua – Not Mine But God’s Own.

The all-day tribute ceremony comes after a candlelight procession that was held in the Prophet honour.

In Evelyn Joshua tributes, who is the wife of the Prophet, described her husband as a man who was dedicated to his divine call.

“The lion himself, I have spent 31 years with my husband, T.B.J, the man in the Synagogue that is the name I fondly call him. Our lives were not without trials and tests and as a Christian, I know trials and tests cannot break the one who relies on God’s strength.

“You taught me to know that tests and trials are the soil on which our faith flourishes. For gold to become gold, it must pass through the fire. Your vision remains more clearer to me with time and without distractions.

“As I watch, see you labour with passion with dedication, hard work to grow from an eight-membership assembly sitting on a mat to wooden chairs and to the level which we are today unto the glory of God.” You grew me to be the woman I am today.

“I stand here today to say thank you for choosing me, caring for me and nurturing me. Thank you for being a good father to the children, thank you for shielding me from those who came to our home with ulterior motives and because you did not give in to their guilt desires, they are bent on soiling your noble name yet you were undeterred.” Evelyn said.

She said that her husband spent his life on things that would outlive him.

Evelyn said her husband’s death was peaceful, but regretted that he would no longer be seen on earth.

“It is, however, comforting that you have gone home after service; sleep on my beloved. Sleep on my God’s general.”

The prophet three children, Serah, Promise, and Heart said he would be missed by the church, world, and family.

In Serah’s tribute to her late father, she said, “I will truly miss your wisdom, knowledge, your mystery and your humour. You have lived a life of unwavering commitment to passion and service. I have no reservations to say that my dad has the biggest heart that I know of and he was a true humanitarian to this nation. What a feat you have left for all of us to live up to.”

His son-in-law, Mr Brian Moshi, the husband to Serah said that TB Joshua lived an exemplary life of service to God and humanity. Moshi said that his father-in-law could do many things at the same time.

“You were a great teacher, yet a good student, a lion, yet a lamb. I have doubted so many times if you were human; you never waited for tomorrow to accomplish what could be done today,” Moshi said

Promise, the second daughter of the late preacher, said his death was a piece of sad news.

“Growing up as a biological daughter of Prophet T.B. Joshua, my dad made me understand that he is on to this world. For him, life on Earth was spiritual warfare and not a place to get too comfortable like it was home.

“He spent each day like it was his last with most of his time spent at his prayer mountain focusing on executing an assignment only he seems to be in the know of what the instructions were.”

“Since I became more socially aware and more inquisitive about my dad’s life I realised that the implications of such lifestyle was that once he was done accomplishing what he was sent for he would be called back home to the one who sent him,” she said.

In Heart’s tribute to her father, the youngest daughter stated that he showed her immeasurable love.

STRUGGLING WITH PROPHET TB JOSHUA' S LEGACY

Tb Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV, Prayer mountain

The new authority in the Synagogue Church of All Nations SCOAN, in Lagos Nigeria, has published events of the burial ceremony of his founder Prophet TB Joshua. They together with the rest of us, who believe in the works of TB Joshua, are the heirs of his legacy. TB Joshua's influence is globally evident and will shape and create a renewed Christian culture to recover Jesus' Love and Faith-in-Action culture and faith.

How will the Church assess and inherit TB Joshua’s tall legacy?  The word of the LORD is clearly saying, "Not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the LORD of Hosts. And who art thou, O great mountain?” (Zechariah 4:6-7). By the grace of God, every mountain shall become a plain. TB Joshua has been a positive and heroic mighty man of God, teaching his followers to live by faith and not by sight. TB Joshua has been courageously confronting the unjust and murderous powers, the dark worlds, including Lucifer, the marine powers and their demons. His faithfulness in serving God despite the dangers it poses, ability to discern God’s voice, his ability to make profound sound judgements for family reconciliation, his love, charity and prayer life, etc., all make TB Joshua a hero of the Good News of Jesus.

Of course, Prophet TB Joshua's legacy is also that of a “troubler” by his numerous foes. This generation thinks that they are entitled to live as they like, speak whatever comes out of their mouth without restrains. TB Joshua endured all name-callings and campaigns of misrepresentation of his intentions. He endured false charges levied against his person or ministry and other misrepresentations maliciously calculated to harm his reputation. He was the target of calumny for his beliefs and acts of goodwill. He was not intimidated by other supposed Christian ministries who made it their objectives not to encourage others but to criticize and condemn. Prophet TB Joshua has never been afraid of campaigns of calumny that could trouble the features of his ministry. He seems more preoccupied with providing for others and solving their difficulties rather than his own. He does not advocate for just his Church nor use violence or foul language.

In Christian history, observers have been learning that some beloved biblical figures are not always as ideal as we would like to believe. Other bible figures make themselves as the most ideal to be followed, and not even Jesus.  At this week events, we'll say that it will be really hard to embrace the shadow side of TB Joshua. We know that Prophet TB Joshua has the power not only to heal and deliver but also to uproot and consume. However, he remained humble, giving his warnings in prophecies and teachings, and letting God do the fighting. He sees beyond his critics and he is living on. Therefore with God's help, the SCOAN shall continue to struggle, through prayer and righteousness, to maintain TB Joshua's legacy and achievements, as the Church looks on to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Photo Gallery - EMMANUEL TV TEAM ON MISSION OF CHARITY IN HONOUR OF TB JOSHUA!

The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV, TB Joshua

In honour of the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua, the Emmanuel TV Team is currently on a mission of charity to deprived and less privileged communities in Lagos State, Nigeria. The first port of call is the ‘Alaba Rago Home For The Needy’ - a Muslim community comprising of the blind, lepers and physically challenged.

One of the community leaders explained how all the residents were in shock and shed tears upon learning of the divine call home of Prophet TB Joshua following an announcement on the radio with a message of condolence from President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Your loss is our loss because Prophet TB Joshua has been helping this community for years. He is a Christian but he is a man who loves everyone - whether you are a Muslim, Christian or Pagan. We want to plead with you to continue supporting us in the same way he has been helping us all these years,” he said.

The Emmanuel TV Team presented 200 bags of rice and a cash gift of N1,000,000 to the community, assuring them that the relationship Prophet TB Joshua had established and the commitment of the ministry to works of charity would continue.

“Someone out there is waiting for you for a lifetime. You cannot afford to fail them; failing them is failing God. Remember, God is speaking to you through them, saying:

‘They are fatherless, so that you can be their father’.

‘They are lonely, so that you can be their companion’.

‘They are in want, so that you can be their benefactor’.”

- Prophet TB Joshua
