Happy 32nd Wedding Anniversary to Prophet TB Joshua and his lovely Wife, Evelyn Joshua

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV,

Marriage is a very beautiful gift. A happy and successful marriage is an amazing blessing from God.  Yet often, the greatest gifts in life are not always cherished the way they should be, even by men of God in the high status. The fact that we serve God doesn't equate to success in marriage or success in anything, but a successful marriage can advance our ministry tremendously. We see our sister that I often call Mama Sarah the few times I came close to her. She is amazing, beautiful, unassuming, prayerful and a mother indeed.

We sometimes come to marriage bringing along from our past what doesn’t help the institution.  Again, what works for two individuals, coping with their everyday stresses of life, may not work so well for another family. Hence comparing our marriage to the next-door neighbour isn't the correct measuring yard. We celebrate Prophet TB Joshua and Mama Sarah on their own unique merits, achievement, exemplary life and their task of caring for the Church.

An expert in the law went to test Jesus with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it. Love your neighbour as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:35-40).

We believe that virtually every marital problem can be traced back to one or both partners failing to abide by these two laws, irrespective of whether they are church leaders or not. The minute we begin to focus on our wants and needs over those of God or our partner; we may be looking for trouble. But if we commit our relationship to God and make a conscious decision each day to put God and our partner first, our marriage will be able to weather any storm.

Our celebrants today make us proud and hopeful despite the carnal world and their evil agenda attacking the marriage institution and the church relentlessly. God promises in (Isaiah 55:11) that His word will not return empty without accomplishing great things He sends it out to achieve. Our prayers for Prophet TB Joshua and Evelyn is in the word of Jesus in (Luke 24:49), the promise to clothe them with power from above and enable them to do God's work efficiently with accomplishment, and a reward of a happy home. Happy 32nd Wedding Anniversary.  Emmanuel! GOD WITH US!

The Consequences of What We Do and Don’t Do

In (Revelation 22::12) we read one of the closing remarks from Jesus saying, “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.”  We all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ where we will receive a commendation, reward or judgment of our actions or inactions. God will pay each person in two ways. If we serve sin we receive God’s judgment and if we serve God then God’s Rewards. For we shall all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what we have done whether good or bad, (2 Corinthians 5:10). For surely each person will receive a reward according to what he or she has done (Psalms 62:12). Jesus also said in (Matthew 16:27) that, “The Son of Man is going to come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will reward each person according to what he has done”. We shall also be rewarded with everlasting life if we believe in Jesus the Son of God and the Messiah, (John 3:16).

The great lesson coming out from the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) seemingly makes no economic sense when you discover a mighty healing power, the New Anointing Water, Anointing Sticker, and many other faith-building materials and ship them freely across the globe at extra cost. In Jesus’ time, the intellectual community in Jerusalem also thought that civilization and the world economy couldn’t be built on Jesus’ teaching. What we have today in Prophet TB Joshua of SCOAN is no drama but reality because of his faith and devotion to the Word of God. God is going to reward Prophet TB Joshua and his Ministries with an overflowing cup of blessings beyond material things anyone can see, and here on earth with endued power from above and peace of mind.

In the same vein, our faithfulness to God on earth will increase our commendation, responsibility, and fellowship with God in heaven. Therefore let us not be desirous of vainglory. Instead, we should not be weary in doing good because in due season God will reward us. We shall continue to love, not just in word or in tongue, but indeed and in truth.

Looking Forward With Prophet TB Joshua for a Quick SCOAN Reopening

As we progress in the calendar year in this New Year, our expectations and hope for a better year become higher because of our faith in Christ Jesus who has called us to follow Him. Moreover, we expect a fresh beginning every day, and a new fellowship opportunity to increase our faith, despite that the heaviness of the past year 2020 is real. Many have suffered losses of family and jobs, lack of fellowship in isolation, loss of finances and health, and gave up their dreams in their isolation especially because of covid-19. The fellowship we take for guaranteed in the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), our Arena of Liberty, is becoming a prayer point as we want to be there again. Of course, our God offers hope in our struggle and help at our worst and hardest moments. Hence as we look forward into the unknown future, we can also look into God’s Word and find hope for the unexpected days ahead. In particular, Church reopening in some form has to be considered without delay and the form is what God shall tell our Prophet TB Joshua. The SCOAN has not surrendered either to the noisy mod crowd or to any covid-19, which are only mere challenges as the prophet himself knows, (James 1:2). We thank God for the New Anointing Water and the Ministry of “Distance Not a Barrier”. This is amazing and may God continually renew His anointing on Prophet TB Joshua for greater leadership. We also notice the dilemma the Church finds itself these challenging days, between the carnal and secular world always looking for condemnation and the lukewarm congregation.  The modern Christians the prophets of God have to deal with today is a people accepting the Grace of Jesus but rejecting the Law and the Righteousness of Jesus, or the Jews who accept the Law but rejecting the Saviour.

Jesus reassured His disciples in (John 14:3) when He said, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also”. This is a very weighty and strong hope for the downcast disciples as any are today. It’s a reminder that not only is there a day coming when Jesus will return for His children, but also the promise that He is preparing a heavenly home right now for all those who put their faith in Him for salvation. This gives the believers heart great help and hope as we look toward unexpected circumstances. No matter what comes our way or what struggles we encounter, one day we will reach our heavenly home and there will be no more pain or sorrow there. Therefore we shall not worry, “about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Sufficient for the day is its trouble”, (Matthew 6:34).

It will be recalled however that in places where fellowship, schools, and institutions have reopened responsibility has been placed squarely on the shoulders of participants and other stakeholders. Closing institutions indefinitely is going to be more harmful to the society than its cause, covid-19. On this, we are so comfortable for the preparation of Prophet TB Joshua, both on prophetic ministry and provision of faith materials on the subject matter. Hence we encourage that people must be allowed into SCOAN freely to come and see that the Lord is good just as young prophets and the public need improved faith through challenging times like these.  Despite the challenges, we are “anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, we let our requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6).

On this occasion, Prophet TB Joshua can be likened to John the Baptist in many ways. John the Baptist did not mingle himself with the elites in Jerusalem schools but separated himself to become a crying voice in the wilderness waiting on God. He came out preaching repentance and baptism, (Luke 3:1-19). The SCOAN is a Holy Spirit movement requiring all of us to wait for the voice of the Lord and a movement taking Prophet TB Joshua to solitary places to learn and hear from God. We have enough evidence to know that many angels and working in the ministry together with the Holy Spirit. The SCOAN population would not allow any anxiety to creep into their minds and hearts. Prophet TB Joshua taught us that desperation or anxiety is a silent distraction that seems to live everywhere we look. May the Lord Jesus continually bless our prophet and the Church in his charge!

Emmanuel.
