SCOAN IS MOVING IN JESUS' NAME EVEN AFTER PROPHET TB JOSHUA

TB Joshua, Evelyn Joshua, Emmanuel TV
General Overseer, Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), owners of Emmanuel TV Team, Prophet TB Joshua and wife, Evelyn
Has anyone of us in The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) ever wondered why our Father in the Lord, Prophet TB Joshua, has to go so suddenly? Or why has SCOAN had to go through what it has to go through since June 5, 2021? We may not know all the answers. However, as we approach the first anniversary of that event let us ponder on what God is telling us and doing in our time. Let us come together and celebrate the life and time of a great prophet of our time.

Truly Prophet TB Joshua's physical absence is an immeasurable missing but, His great work of love, his complete dedication to the full gospel of Jesus Christ, his teaching, his unique charisma, etc., will all remain with us. We can say right away that was spoon-feeding all of us, from his family, his numerous disciples and workers, Emmanuel TV Partners and his other associates, regular or occasional Church members, visitors, and viewers of Emmanuel TV worldwide, everyone got fed freely. His absence should encourage us to grow more spiritually and depend on the Holy Spirit that was also living in Prophet TB Joshua.

His passing away has been greatly felt, even though at different degrees, depending on whether you were his wife, children, disciples, followers, or even critics. Nevertheless, there are great signs of reassurance to build our faith and hope; not just from the Holy Scriptures and the Holy Spirit. His wife and now SCOAN's new leader, Prophetess Evelyn Joshua is filling the space her husband left. Many assemblies, offshoots of SCOAN, are springing up in many countries his disciples have run back to. We are praying for all of them to be filled with the Holy Ghost so that we can build on the same foundation laid by Christ Jesus, faithfully and powerfully.

Not that anyone of us has already obtained everything, or has already arrived, but the goal is to keep pressing on and take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of us, (Philippians 3:12). We shall continue to advocate the need for our mutual unity, love and working in one accord. If the Apostle Paul is willing to admit that He hasn’t full attained the fullness of salvation, then there is a need to support each other and build on whatever we learned under Prophet TB Joshua.

We shall press forward as Paul says. By that Paul is teaching us that Jesus Christ died so that we might have salvation. Jesus Christ left us so that the Comforter could come and teach us all things.  Remember also that Jesus isn’t still on the cross. Jesus isn’t in the tomb. Jesus has moved on. Let us encourage each other also that Prophet TB Joshua has moved on and so we have to move on too. Yet our father in the Lord will live continually in our hearts. But we're grateful to God for briefly lending him to the world.

An Encounter With Prophet TB Joshua in Dreams

TB Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

Early this morning, Monday, December 20, 2021, I found myself in the company of Prophet TB Joshua and two others with us. TB Joshua was the driver I was sitting at the back in the car, a very modern car. I’m not sure I’d seen such a pleasure car before. We drove past a big car workshop and saw one of TB Joshua’s disciples. As he drove on we told him that the disciple we saw was backsliding. TB Joshua said we should turn back to talk and encourage the said disciple.

Prophet TB Joshua turned the car back and suddenly I saw a bigger image of the prophet. So I told him that he couldn’t be driving us whilst I was there because he was the master and I saw myself as just a servant. Remember I started drinking Arigidi waters more than ten years before he was born, but that’s not the image I saw. He was a master. He gave me the key to drive the car and he came to the back seat and watched. But as I put in the key the car was going off-road. It went completely off-road to the left then off road to the right. The road was good and the car was great. Eventually, we manually bring back the car to the said workshop for repair while the prophet talked with the disciple. We also asked the prophet to phone his wife, Evelyn Joshua, to explain to her why we would be late. Then I woke up and it had only been a dream.

The prayer offered by Jesus in John chapter 17 came flashing on me. Jesus prayed for us as follows. “Now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. The glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one, (verses 11 & 22).

Therefore Christians all over the universe have no choice but to unite and be one. That’s the prayer of this Jesus of Christmas. We ought also to possess the blessing of receiving Jesus in the Synagogue Church of All Nations, (SCOAN), whether it is TB Joshua or Evelyn Joshua, or anyone else.  As many as received Jesus, (and His word and prayer) to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His name, (John 1:11-12).

Behold Its Good Tidings of Great Joy from SCOAN

The Synagogue, SCOAN, TB Joshua, Emmanuel TV
The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN)

Bethlehem, in Hebrew, is "Bet Leḥem" or “Town of Bread”. It is currently a town in the West Bank,  in the Judaean Hills about  5 miles (8 km) south of Jerusalem. According to the Gospels (Matthew 2; Luke 2), Bethlehem was the site of the Nativity of Jesus Christ. Joseph and a heavily pregnant Mary had to ride on a donkey,  from Nazareth to Bethlehem, a journey of about 160km. The journey is called a Nativity Trail. Prophet Micah (5:2) had prophesied concerning the birth of King Jesus in Bethlehem. In this modern-day, Bethlehem is still famous for being the place of Jesus Christ's birth and has been celebrated in Christmas Carols and Hymns through the centuries. The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) is joining others around the globe to celebrate this 2021, the first one without our Founder Prophet TB Joshua.

It was like the days of Ezra (1:1) when the time for the return of Israel from captivity came to fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah. The LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation. Similarly when the time came that Jesus would be born, and as prophesied, a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that everyone should be taxed in their own native city. It was a divine order that took Joseph up from Galilee together with Mary into Bethlehem, also called the city of David, because he was of the house and lineage of David. Therefore whatever is happening around the world, or whatever is happening to us at SCOAN, is a divine order from above. Things may seem less pleasant but everything is divine from above. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way, (Psalms 36:23). God's Will shall always be done.

The time when Jesus was born were not days of modern live-television broadcasts and news media as we have today. However, God had made all the necessary arrangements for the Good News to be preserved for all generations. There were shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. The angel of the Lord came upon them. The glory of the Lord shone around them. They were sore afraid. The angel said to them, "Fear not, for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord". The angel left them with detailed descriptions of where they would find the baby Jesus. In addition, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and singing.

The shepherds went straight to Bethlehem to see and confirm what the Lord had made known unto them. They found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. They made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. All who heard their story wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. Who is this Jesus that ordinary shepherds had the privilege to see and witness for? Wise men came with all their riches, experience and age to worship baby Jesus and to present highly symbolic precious gifts. A devoted old man Simeon took the baby Jesus up in his arms, and blessed God, and saying, "My eyes have seen thy salvation which thou hast prepared before the face of all people. A light to lighten the Gentiles and the glory of thy people Israel". Who is this Jesus?

In this Christmas, it is desired that God should kindly open our spirit mind to see what the angel, the host of heaven, the shepherds, the Wise Men from the East, old Simeon, what they see about this Jesus and sang and worship. Obviously, they saw beyond a mere baby in Mary's arms. They saw Jesus as the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last, the one with the key of David, they saw an Infinite Being. Apostle Paul (Philippians 2:5-11) admonishes us to humble ourselves with the humble mindset in Christ Jesus. That Jesus is the form of God that has humbled Himself to take the form of ordinary man for our salvation. God also has highly exalted Him and has given Him a name that is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. That every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. This is the Jesus of Prophet TB Joshua of SCOAN. This Jesus gives us confidence not only to wish everyone a Merry Christmas but also the "Good Morning and Win Today".

EVELYN JOSHUA WOWS AT THE MAGNIFICENT REUNION SERVICES OF SCOAN

By Sola Ojewusi

“Surely he would be missed but he would not be missed.”

Those were the words of an observer when Prophetess Evelyn Joshua, widow of the late world renowned televangelist Prophet TB Joshua officially began her new role as Head of the Synagogue Church of All Nations yesterday in Lagos. In fact that paradox best describes the mood at the Synagogue Church of All Nations when the organisation once again threw its gates open for services.

Since the passing of the founder of SCOAN, the world renowned televangelist Prophet TB Joshua in June, there had been a lot of speculations regarding the future of the church. Things even got more complicated with the recent events bordering on the loyalty of the Prophet’s disciples to the new dispensation now headed by the wife of the founder Prophetess Evelyn Joshua.

But in the weeks preceding the event of Sunday, the Prophetess appeared to have quickly settled into the new role and been able to bring the church back to the path laid down by her late husband and mentor. The hugely successful event of Sunday tagged Reunion and Thanksgiving Service was a testimony to the ability of Evelyn Joshua, the new Woman of God to steer the ship. And, as observed by someone at the church that day, “How beautifully she handled things! This is the Lord’s doing!” he concluded.

It was truly a soul stirring day that started with thematic songs that spoke well to the solemn occasion, especially the solo performance of “For the God of the Mountains/Is the God of the valley/God of the good times/Is the God of the bad times…”

The choir, clad in white choir dress and bluish collars, then followed with a rendition of a soulful “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty…”. When a lady chorister in turn led in singing the South African piece, “Malibongwe igam lenkosi” (Let the name of God be praised), the huge crowd of worshippers went into a pious frenzy, singing and dancing along.

It was indeed a full house of congregants from around the world gaily dressed and draped in the flags of their various nation. The crowd in the overflow sections was even much larger than those inside the main building. It was indeed an atmosphere of celebration and the mood of elation was shared across the sections of the full house.

By the time the choir made the rendition of “Yes Lord My world says Yes” composed by the late founder TB Joshua, it was clear that rather than mourn, the church was ready to move on in a celebratory mood.

For those watching on TV and on the various social media platforms of the church, it was a spiritual feast to the eye they would not forget in a hurry. Reading through their comments, it became clear that truly, TB Joshua might have gone to rest, the work he so gloriously started will continue under the able leadership of the Woman in the Synagogue.

According to a Twitter user, “I’m sure TB Joshua would be happy in heaven that the work has continued.” And to an observer who was watching on TV came the emotional words, “TB Joshua, we will always love you. Aluta continua!”

According to Naledi Katz Kyllastinen, one of the SCOAN Facebook page enthusiasts, “The legacy of prophet TB Joshua goes on, from our generation to the next generation and the children of their children. Good grace, good God, He started it and His will our command! We are matching on to the Thrown of Mercy with one accord… SALVATION!” Then came the most anticipated moment.

Prior to this day, people had wondered if the great works of miracles would continue with the passing of TB Joshua. Sunday really answered the nagging questions. And the manifestations continued, putting paid to the questions about continuity of divine healing. As the Prophetess took the floor to preach after showing her gratitude to all who stood by the church, the afflicted began vomiting blood and other poisonous substances on the floor of the church in the glare of International television audiences indicative of divine healing.

From the beginning you could begin to see the manifestations of the vision, that this was an undying endowment despite the transition of its founder. And Prophetess Evelyn Joshua brought out amazing flashes of her anointing. The conclusion of most as the day wore on was that the grace still overflowed at the SCOAN.

Then came the testimony moments. Again, we began to see the return of the good old days when TB Joshua held sway as amazing testimonies came from the congregation. First was that of Tangeni Anasthasia from Cameroon who gave a moving testimony of how she was healed during the night vigil led by Evelyn Joshua.

Another woman, Mrs Ikeduwa Uzodinma who was barren for ten years and was now pregnant also came to share her astonishing miracle, a testimony corroborated by her husband. “God has used this ministry to change my life,” she enthused.

Mr Samuel Banigo who had leg cancer and was due for amputation before taking the anointing water from SCOAN and was totally healed was another testifier. His story sent tears of joy flowing among the congregation.

Then came the big moment. With the eyes of the world in her, Prophetess Evelyn Joshua came in calm cool and collected, oozing the confidence of a woman of mission. And how well she carried the mantle, giving assurance to observers that all was well at the SCOAN, that the Prophet might have passed, the Prophetess has risen. “He is with us here today in spirit,” she told the church of her husband.

While dedicating the church to the Lord, she prayed for the congregation, assuring that the church “will forever be grateful for what God Almighty has used his servant to do in this house.”

Quoting Roman 8:35 beginning with “Who shall separate us from the love of

CHRIST?” she expressed her gratitude to the church, the Emmanuel TV partners and all well-wishers. She centred her sermon on the title: “The Decision of a Champion.” One of the highlights of her exhortation was the statement: “You must do something you hate in order to create something you love.” She also urged the church to “Reposition yourself for goodness…”, reminding all that “Jesus is the roadmap to the lost…”

And as she rounded off, signs that she was going to take the path of reconciliation were shown when she acknowledged the presence of the mentees of Prophet TB Joshua, the wise men who worked with the late prophet and appeared to be ready to cooperate with the church.

For their support and loyalty, the woman of God thanked the five Wisemen, Harry, Daniel, John Chi, Christopher and Racine.

Among the artistes that graced the event with soul stirring performances were Mike Abdul whose ministration brought the house to a celebratory frenzy. The atmosphere of praise, camaraderie and glory would not be forgotten in a hurry. The refrain of “O ja Sope” also reflected the mood of triumph over the adversity of recent times. It was indeed a day of profound Alleluia at the Synagogue!

It was indeed an unforgettable day at the SCOAN. The church looks safe under the new leadership. As observed by many, the future looks bright and Evelyn Joshua appears ready for universal impact.
