Unraveling the Bias: A Rebuttal to openDemocracy's Campaign Against TB Joshua and SCOAN

TB Joshua, SCOAN, openDemocracy, Rebuttal, Allegations, Spiritual Warfare, Church of God, Faith, Defense, Bias, Comprehensive Response

In a recent publication, openDemocracy has presented a misleading narrative with regard to the followers of Prophet TB Joshua and the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN). The article accuses them of attempting to suppress TB Joshua’s “victim”. While it is essential to address any form of abuse and misinformation, it is equally crucial to scrutinize the credibility of such claims and explore the broader context. This rebuttal aims to shed light on the perceived bias in openDemocracy's report and present a more comprehensive perspective.

The article notes that YouTube and Apple have taken action against SCOAN and its followers based on reports of abusive content. However, it is crucial to strike a balance between enforcing policies and allowing diverse viewpoints. There is the need to scrutinize the methodology and criteria used to identify abusive content, ensuring a fair and unbiased assessment.

The removal of SCOAN-related content by YouTube and Apple, as reported by openDemocracy, prompts concerns about censorship. The protection of free speech is paramount on all social media platforms. Suppressing the free speech of supporters of Prophet TB Joshua and the SCOAN hinders their ability to present evidence, counter allegations, and amounts to stifling opposing perspectives. The right to free expression and a fair hearing should be extended to all parties involved.

Your so-called investigation outlines instances of cyberbullying, discrimination, and spreading of misinformation by SCOAN supporters. However, that is actually what openDemocracy and the disgraced BBC are doing against TB Joshua and SCOAN by spreading misinformation about the ministry.

The documentary produced by the BBC, in collaboration with openDemocracy, is cited as a catalyst for an upsurge in abusive content. Nonetheless, it has been asserted that the mentioned documentary has been proven to be false and fabricated. There exists no concrete evidence from the accusers of Prophet TB Joshua and SCOAN; the movie or documentary was an orchestrated act. The anticipation for any evidence against the ministry remains unfulfilled.

The question that cannot be dismissed is why these accusations find amplification through online platforms and documentary-style productions rather than being pursued through legal channels. If justice is indeed the primary objective, one might question why legal systems are not resorted to for a thorough investigation and due process. The preference for an online campaign over legal avenues raises doubts about the true intent behind the endeavor. If Bisola and Ajoke claim they are victims according to the openDemocracy reports, it is imperative to stress the significance of seeking legal recourse, pursuing legal avenues is the appropriate course of action to establish the truth and ensure accountability, instead of campaign of calumny against the person of Prophet TB Joshua and blasphemous remark against the work of God.

As Christians, faith healing and deliverance are an integral part of our religious beliefs. SCOAN's emphasis on prayer and faith aligns with these foundational principles. It is crucial for openDemocracy and others to respect and acknowledge the diversity of faith practices, recognizing that differing beliefs coexist within our global community.

The call for Google Play and Apple's App Store to reassess hosting the Emmanuel TV app raises concerns about potential institutional persecution. It is essential to differentiate between responsible hosting of diverse religious content and an infringement on religious freedoms. Institutions must strike a balance that respects the plurality of beliefs.

The global community is characterized by religious diversity, and any reassessment of hosting applications should be done with the understanding that diverse faith practices contribute to this richness. Upholding the freedom for individuals to access content aligned with their beliefs is fundamental to fostering a tolerant and inclusive society.

SCOAN has consistently maintained a stance of not imposing its beliefs on individuals. The call for reassessment should take into account the voluntary nature of engagement with religious content. Individuals have the autonomy to choose content that aligns with their faith, and this freedom must be safeguarded.

Instead of advocating for reassessment, we propose fostering open dialogue and understanding between stakeholders. Respectful conversations that acknowledge religious diversity and promote mutual understanding contribute to a harmonious coexistence of different faiths in the digital space.

Preserving religious freedom is a cornerstone of a democratic society. Any actions that may impact the hosting of religious content should be approached cautiously, ensuring that these actions do not inadvertently infringe upon the rights of individuals to freely practice their faith.

openDemocracy's coverage of the situation appears to carry an inherent bias against TB Joshua and SCOAN. The absence of objective journalism, reliance on unverified sources, and the selective presentation of information contribute to an atmosphere of suspicion. A comprehensive and impartial investigation should encompass all perspectives to arrive at a fair and just conclusion.

Amidst the allegations, it become obvious that those accusing TB Joshua are financially supported with the intent to tarnish the esteemed reputation of the Prophet and launch an assault against the Church of God. The orchestrated nature of these attacks raises questions about the ulterior motives driving the accusations.

Despite the tumult of allegations, the Church stands unwavering in its faith and commitment to defend the Christian Faith. The conviction that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church, as affirmed by the Bible, instills confidence that truth will ultimately triumph over falsehood. The steadfast belief in victory through Christ Jesus serves as the cornerstone of our defense.

Recognizing the spiritual dimension of the conflict, we perceive the attacks as a manifestation of spiritual warfare. The Apostle Paul's counsel in Ephesians 6:12 resonates profoundly, underscoring that the struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. The defense against these accusations extends beyond the physical realm, involving prayer and spiritual discernment.

The prevailing message is one of victory in Christ Jesus. Despite the challenges and orchestrated attacks, our faith remains unshaken. The assurance that Christ has already secured the ultimate triumph over adversity serves as the anchor fortifying our defense.

YouTube Takes Another Hit on Truth: Watched TB Joshua Channel Remove

In an expected move, YouTube seems to be taking sides in the ongoing controversy surrounding the staged and fabricated BBC documentary on Prophet TB Joshua and the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN). The latest target is the "Watched TB Joshua" YouTube channel, which has been taken down, making one to question the platform's commitment to neutrality.

The channel, known for its objective analysis and exposure of falsehoods and slander in the BBC documentary, joins the ranks of other pro-TB Joshua channels that have faced similar takedowns. This includes the official YouTube channel of Prophet TB Joshua and SCOAN. The common thread among these channels is their dedication to presenting an alternative perspective and unveiling the truth with evidences.

YouTube's actions are preventing the dissemination of views contrary to those presented in the BBC controversial documentary. This moves should spark concerns about censorship and the suppression of alternative narratives, leaving the public with limited access to different viewpoints.

The situation raises questions about the integrity of YouTube, a platforms that play a significant role in shaping public opinion. This act is indicative of a broader trend where alternative voices are stifled, limiting the public's ability to make informed decisions.

They don’t want the public to know the truth. They are blocking alternative views, and the public must be wise; these are signs of end times. Do not be deceived; the world and its establishment are after the true church.

In response to this censorship, "Watched TB Joshua" has taken preemptive measures. Anticipating potential removal, the channel has already established a presence on Rumble, an alternative video-sharing platform. The new channel on Rumble aims to continue providing exclusive content related to TB Joshua and SCOAN, ensuring that subscribers and supporters can access information beyond the reach of mainstream platforms.

The call to action encourages those interested in TB Joshua and SCOAN to subscribe to the Rumble channel via the link: https://rumble.com/c/Watchedtbjoshua. This move is seen as a strategic step to counter the limitations imposed by YouTube and maintain an open dialogue about the ongoing events.

As the controversy unfolds, the takedown of "Watched TB Joshua" on YouTube raises critical questions about the role of major platforms in controlling information flow and the potential impact on public perception. It also serves as a reminder that alternative platforms may become essential in preserving diverse perspectives and fostering free expression in an increasingly interconnected digital landscape.

Prophet TB Joshua Is Living On In Our Hearts As Our Rallying Point

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

Sunday, June 5, 2022, will mark the first anniversary and celebration of the life and time of the Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua. He passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, just seven days before his 58th birthday. On any human scale, it would have been an immeasurable loss to the Church, the family, the devastating disciples and followers, and the national and international communities. Even Arigidi Akoko, his home town couldn't believe he could die. Hence His Royal Highness, the Saki of Arigidi, declared all markets and shops to close immediately on hearing the news.

Less than a year after, SCOAN, led by the Prophet's wife, Mama Evelyn Joshua, is moving on because the cause for which TB Joshua has come to represent does not allow for mourning or to be sorrowful about.  His life can only be celebrated because it is a life devoted entirely to the service of God and humanity, and such that people can see Christ in action. He made the mission of Jesus easier and clearer for people to appreciate. He would dress simply, and mingle freely and humbly with people. His teachings are simple, Biblical, and relate to everyday life without unnecessary ceremonies or rituals. We see Jesus Christ in him. No wonder his wife could step in as if nothing has happened because of the openness and sincerity of the purpose of the original mission. It is a celebration of the life of a worthy prophet of God with a mission. Therefore we are less sad. In all this God has a purpose in everything and unto God, we commit everything including each soul. We must all join our faith together as one united in Christ, to pray for the perfection of what God has started in SCOAN, even under the leadership of Evelyn Joshua.

As we celebrate this great prophet of our time we equally remember not just the SCOAN in Lagos but every offshoot and work of TB Joshua. In particular, we remember every disciple that learned under the prophet, praying for a renewed, fresh and abundant anointing on them and their ministries. Prophet TB Joshua had crusades around the world. Our prayers also go to those who through this crusade activity gave their lives to Jesus. The goal of Prophet TB Joshua is that Jesus must be honoured as the kingdom of God expands on earth. Also that everyone will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through the Word demonstrated in deliverance, prophecy, healing, teaching and compassionate giving. Prophet TB Joshua's disciples will do well to let love lead them and be guided by the Word of God every moment, even in this perilous time. Jesus has promised to send the Promise of the Father to clothe us with power from above, (Luke 24:49). May you receive the fullness of the Holy Ghost Power in your daily life.

Just as we believe that the life of Prophet TB Joshua was to fulfil God's mission even so we individually must wait on God our heavenly father to send us out on our divine missions. Meanwhile, TB Joshua will remain a rallying point for many Christians around the globe from now to eternity. This alone is a major reason for celebration. Unless we are blessed, favoured and given from above no Christian leader can achieve this status Prophet TB Joshua has achieved. Apostle John said it better when he said, "A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven", (John 3:27). Therefore we shall continually rejoice and celebrate all the memory we have had knowing Temitope Balogun Joshua. It has been a big privilege having first-hand contact and knowledge about him. Yet the best is yet to come to SCOAN or any of his offshoot ministries.

SCOAN IS MOVING IN JESUS' NAME EVEN AFTER PROPHET TB JOSHUA

TB Joshua, Evelyn Joshua, Emmanuel TV
General Overseer, Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), owners of Emmanuel TV Team, Prophet TB Joshua and wife, Evelyn
Has anyone of us in The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) ever wondered why our Father in the Lord, Prophet TB Joshua, has to go so suddenly? Or why has SCOAN had to go through what it has to go through since June 5, 2021? We may not know all the answers. However, as we approach the first anniversary of that event let us ponder on what God is telling us and doing in our time. Let us come together and celebrate the life and time of a great prophet of our time.

Truly Prophet TB Joshua's physical absence is an immeasurable missing but, His great work of love, his complete dedication to the full gospel of Jesus Christ, his teaching, his unique charisma, etc., will all remain with us. We can say right away that was spoon-feeding all of us, from his family, his numerous disciples and workers, Emmanuel TV Partners and his other associates, regular or occasional Church members, visitors, and viewers of Emmanuel TV worldwide, everyone got fed freely. His absence should encourage us to grow more spiritually and depend on the Holy Spirit that was also living in Prophet TB Joshua.

His passing away has been greatly felt, even though at different degrees, depending on whether you were his wife, children, disciples, followers, or even critics. Nevertheless, there are great signs of reassurance to build our faith and hope; not just from the Holy Scriptures and the Holy Spirit. His wife and now SCOAN's new leader, Prophetess Evelyn Joshua is filling the space her husband left. Many assemblies, offshoots of SCOAN, are springing up in many countries his disciples have run back to. We are praying for all of them to be filled with the Holy Ghost so that we can build on the same foundation laid by Christ Jesus, faithfully and powerfully.

Not that anyone of us has already obtained everything, or has already arrived, but the goal is to keep pressing on and take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of us, (Philippians 3:12). We shall continue to advocate the need for our mutual unity, love and working in one accord. If the Apostle Paul is willing to admit that He hasn’t full attained the fullness of salvation, then there is a need to support each other and build on whatever we learned under Prophet TB Joshua.

We shall press forward as Paul says. By that Paul is teaching us that Jesus Christ died so that we might have salvation. Jesus Christ left us so that the Comforter could come and teach us all things.  Remember also that Jesus isn’t still on the cross. Jesus isn’t in the tomb. Jesus has moved on. Let us encourage each other also that Prophet TB Joshua has moved on and so we have to move on too. Yet our father in the Lord will live continually in our hearts. But we're grateful to God for briefly lending him to the world.

Evelyn Joshua Get 63 Year Old Victoria A House

scoan, victoria, mummy evelyn joshua

A 63-Year-Old Woman, Mrs Victoria Adebayo came to The SCOAN with her Family to share a testimony of the goodness of God in her life and thank Mummy Evelyn Joshua who gifted her a new House.

Mrs Victoria began her testimony by telling the church that when she had come to The SCOAN many years ago with numerous problems and issues, she was accepted wholeheartedly by Prophet T.B. Joshua.

As the years passed, she had continued to enjoy the mentorship of Prophet T.B. Joshua. As such, when the man of God transited to glory, Victoria said she had cried: “It is finished for me!” A while afterwards, Victoria decided she wanted to return to her village.

She then approached woman of God Pastor Evelyn Joshua and told her. Moved with compassion, the woman of God promised to go with Victoria to the village. Thinking it was an impossibility, Victoria marvelled at the unexpected offer. To cut a long story short, the woman of God said she would be sending people with Victoria to the village to do one thing: build her a house!

Only a few months later, the house is now standing in decent glory on a plot of land in Iyin-Ekiti State, Nigeria.

Amazed at this incredible gesture, Victoria thought it necessary to testify to the world about the blessing she has received.

Victoria’s younger sister, who accompanied her to testify today, also recalled how a touch from Prophet T.B. Joshua about five years ago had ended her 17 years of barrenness.

“Nothing is impossible for God; let’s have faith in him,” said Victoria’s in-law, Wahab. “Focus on God,” declared Victoria.

2020: “THE YEAR OF COME BACK TO WORSHIP GOD”

“THE YEAR OF COME BACK TO WORSHIP GOD”

John 4: 24, says “God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth”.

In this new year, 2022, we are called to open our hearts to God’s Word and Spirit, by totally submitting to His will and purpose for our lives. As Christians, our lives must be centred in Christ Jesus and we should fully commit to Him in order to experience the full dividends and joy of being a child of God.

“God is in all ages, gathering unto Himself a generation of spiritual worshipers”- TB Joshua.

An Encounter With Prophet TB Joshua in Dreams

TB Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

Early this morning, Monday, December 20, 2021, I found myself in the company of Prophet TB Joshua and two others with us. TB Joshua was the driver I was sitting at the back in the car, a very modern car. I’m not sure I’d seen such a pleasure car before. We drove past a big car workshop and saw one of TB Joshua’s disciples. As he drove on we told him that the disciple we saw was backsliding. TB Joshua said we should turn back to talk and encourage the said disciple.

Prophet TB Joshua turned the car back and suddenly I saw a bigger image of the prophet. So I told him that he couldn’t be driving us whilst I was there because he was the master and I saw myself as just a servant. Remember I started drinking Arigidi waters more than ten years before he was born, but that’s not the image I saw. He was a master. He gave me the key to drive the car and he came to the back seat and watched. But as I put in the key the car was going off-road. It went completely off-road to the left then off road to the right. The road was good and the car was great. Eventually, we manually bring back the car to the said workshop for repair while the prophet talked with the disciple. We also asked the prophet to phone his wife, Evelyn Joshua, to explain to her why we would be late. Then I woke up and it had only been a dream.

The prayer offered by Jesus in John chapter 17 came flashing on me. Jesus prayed for us as follows. “Now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. The glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one, (verses 11 & 22).

Therefore Christians all over the universe have no choice but to unite and be one. That’s the prayer of this Jesus of Christmas. We ought also to possess the blessing of receiving Jesus in the Synagogue Church of All Nations, (SCOAN), whether it is TB Joshua or Evelyn Joshua, or anyone else.  As many as received Jesus, (and His word and prayer) to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His name, (John 1:11-12).

Created in God's Image and Living in His Garment of Glory

TB Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

If there is one thing that has set the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) uniquely apart, it will be the attribute of God's Holiness. The Founder of the SCOAN, Prophet TB Joshua was able to carry this mantle of God's holiness and He obtained results. As Jesus was physically leaving His disciples He assured them that, "Behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you. But tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high, (Luke 24:49). We covet this clothing from above.

What is the best attribute describing our God? We read in Revelation 4:1-8 as Apostle John saw that a door was opened in heaven. He was in the spirit and saw that a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. All those around the throne rested not, but day and night were saying, "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come". Therefore Holiness is the attribute of God in whose image He created man, male and female, (Genesis 1:27). Adam and Eve were initially clothed in this garment of God's Holiness and Righteousness. Physically they were both naked and were not ashamed, (Genesis 2:25). In the spirit, God's Holiness clothed them.

Unfortunately, they were deceived by that old serpent, the devil, or Satan and they fell. Then their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked. They used human effort, sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons, (Genesis 3:7). That is, they lost their holy estate, their holy garment, and lost eternity to become mere flesh. Jesus had to lecture Nicodemus that, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit", (John 3:6). Prophet TB Joshua knew that we couldn't achieve the things of God by living in the flesh.

Prophet TB Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV, Evelyn Joshua

Therefore as we pray along with our Mother in the Lord, Prophetess Evelyn Joshua, it is that she will be clothed with power from on high (Luke 24:49) to do God's exploits. The rest of us need similarly be clothed with heavenly attires. Not because we want results but because that is the fear of the Lord. It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh, together with all its effort, profits nothing. Jesus said that "The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life", (John 3:63).

We pray that the words that will come out of every SCOAN prophet, whether those that have trained and are on their own, or those still in training, or those coming for prayers and further training, shall be spirit clothing and bringing forth life. The reconciliation, oneness and unity of all SCOAN disciples, prophets, evangelists, wise men, church workers trained by Prophet TB Joshua, is paramount to the work of God. But better still is the living spirit of God in us, working and perfecting our lives for God's purpose and glory. Then every moment we can say, "Good Morning and Win Today".

EVELYN JOSHUA WOWS AT THE MAGNIFICENT REUNION SERVICES OF SCOAN

By Sola Ojewusi

SCOAN, Evelyn Joshua, TB Joshua, Emmanuel TV

“Surely he would be missed but he would not be missed.”

Those were the words of an observer when Prophetess Evelyn Joshua, widow of the late world renowned televangelist Prophet TB Joshua officially began her new role as Head of the Synagogue Church of All Nations yesterday in Lagos. In fact that paradox best describes the mood at the Synagogue Church of All Nations when the organisation once again threw its gates open for services.

Since the passing of the founder of SCOAN, the world renowned televangelist Prophet TB Joshua in June, there had been a lot of speculations regarding the future of the church. Things even got more complicated with the recent events bordering on the loyalty of the Prophet’s disciples to the new dispensation now headed by the wife of the founder Prophetess Evelyn Joshua.

But in the weeks preceding the event of Sunday, the Prophetess appeared to have quickly settled into the new role and been able to bring the church back to the path laid down by her late husband and mentor. The hugely successful event of Sunday tagged Reunion and Thanksgiving Service was a testimony to the ability of Evelyn Joshua, the new Woman of God to steer the ship. And, as observed by someone at the church that day, “How beautifully she handled things! This is the Lord’s doing!” he concluded.

SCOAN, Anointed Water, Emmanuel TV, TB Joshua

It was truly a soul stirring day that started with thematic songs that spoke well to the solemn occasion, especially the solo performance of “For the God of the Mountains/Is the God of the valley/God of the good times/Is the God of the bad times…”

The choir, clad in white choir dress and bluish collars, then followed with a rendition of a soulful “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty…”. When a lady chorister in turn led in singing the South African piece, “Malibongwe igam lenkosi” (Let the name of God be praised), the huge crowd of worshippers went into a pious frenzy, singing and dancing along.

It was indeed a full house of congregants from around the world gaily dressed and draped in the flags of their various nation. The crowd in the overflow sections was even much larger than those inside the main building. It was indeed an atmosphere of celebration and the mood of elation was shared across the sections of the full house.

SCOAN, Evelyn Joshua, TB Joshua

By the time the choir made the rendition of “Yes Lord My world says Yes” composed by the late founder TB Joshua, it was clear that rather than mourn, the church was ready to move on in a celebratory mood.

For those watching on TV and on the various social media platforms of the church, it was a spiritual feast to the eye they would not forget in a hurry. Reading through their comments, it became clear that truly, TB Joshua might have gone to rest, the work he so gloriously started will continue under the able leadership of the Woman in the Synagogue.

According to a Twitter user, “I’m sure TB Joshua would be happy in heaven that the work has continued.” And to an observer who was watching on TV came the emotional words, “TB Joshua, we will always love you. Aluta continua!”

According to Naledi Katz Kyllastinen, one of the SCOAN Facebook page enthusiasts, “The legacy of prophet TB Joshua goes on, from our generation to the next generation and the children of their children. Good grace, good God, He started it and His will our command! We are matching on to the Thrown of Mercy with one accord… SALVATION!” Then came the most anticipated moment.

Prior to this day, people had wondered if the great works of miracles would continue with the passing of TB Joshua. Sunday really answered the nagging questions. And the manifestations continued, putting paid to the questions about continuity of divine healing. As the Prophetess took the floor to preach after showing her gratitude to all who stood by the church, the afflicted began vomiting blood and other poisonous substances on the floor of the church in the glare of International television audiences indicative of divine healing.

From the beginning you could begin to see the manifestations of the vision, that this was an undying endowment despite the transition of its founder. And Prophetess Evelyn Joshua brought out amazing flashes of her anointing. The conclusion of most as the day wore on was that the grace still overflowed at the SCOAN.

Then came the testimony moments. Again, we began to see the return of the good old days when TB Joshua held sway as amazing testimonies came from the congregation. First was that of Tangeni Anasthasia from Cameroon who gave a moving testimony of how she was healed during the night vigil led by Evelyn Joshua.

Another woman, Mrs Ikeduwa Uzodinma who was barren for ten years and was now pregnant also came to share her astonishing miracle, a testimony corroborated by her husband. “God has used this ministry to change my life,” she enthused.

Mr Samuel Banigo who had leg cancer and was due for amputation before taking the anointing water from SCOAN and was totally healed was another testifier. His story sent tears of joy flowing among the congregation.

Then came the big moment. With the eyes of the world in her, Prophetess Evelyn Joshua came in calm cool and collected, oozing the confidence of a woman of mission. And how well she carried the mantle, giving assurance to observers that all was well at the SCOAN, that the Prophet might have passed, the Prophetess has risen. “He is with us here today in spirit,” she told the church of her husband.

While dedicating the church to the Lord, she prayed for the congregation, assuring that the church “will forever be grateful for what God Almighty has used his servant to do in this house.”

Quoting Roman 8:35 beginning with “Who shall separate us from the love of

CHRIST?” she expressed her gratitude to the church, the Emmanuel TV partners and all well-wishers. She centred her sermon on the title: “The Decision of a Champion.” One of the highlights of her exhortation was the statement: “You must do something you hate in order to create something you love.” She also urged the church to “Reposition yourself for goodness…”, reminding all that “Jesus is the roadmap to the lost…”

And as she rounded off, signs that she was going to take the path of reconciliation were shown when she acknowledged the presence of the mentees of Prophet TB Joshua, the wise men who worked with the late prophet and appeared to be ready to cooperate with the church.

The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV, TB Joshua, Wiseman

For their support and loyalty, the woman of God thanked the five Wisemen, Harry, Daniel, John Chi, Christopher and Racine.

Among the artistes that graced the event with soul stirring performances were Mike Abdul whose ministration brought the house to a celebratory frenzy. The atmosphere of praise, camaraderie and glory would not be forgotten in a hurry. The refrain of “O ja Sope” also reflected the mood of triumph over the adversity of recent times. It was indeed a day of profound Alleluia at the Synagogue!

It was indeed an unforgettable day at the SCOAN. The church looks safe under the new leadership. As observed by many, the future looks bright and Evelyn Joshua appears ready for universal impact.

Prophet Harry Thoughts on the SCOAN Thanks Giving and Reunion Service

Harry, Wiseman, Racine, Daniel, Prophet, TB Joshua

People of God, GOOD MORNING! What a wonderful day it is; it is indeed as it should be by divine will!

I am writing to you from Lagos, Nigeria, where I am to honour my mentor, my father, my teacher – the man who changed my life through Christ – God’s servant Prophet T. B. Joshua.

It is a day of joy, because though my mentor is not amongst us in the body, the Spirit of the Lord that abided in Him is moving mightily in our midst! I know that so many of you have joined our mother in the Lord, Mrs. Evelyn Joshua, and along with the thousands of believers physically in attendance of today’s powerful service you have become witnesses of the Lord Jesus’ promise! For in John 14, He promised not to leave us orphans but to give us another Helper, that He may abide with us forever; and the Helper has moved with fire amongst us today!

Today’s service is a proof that those who make Jesus their source shall find Him to be all sufficient! It is indeed a proof of what my father, Prophet T. B. Joshua, frequently said; that for those whose lives are centred in Christ Jesus the best is always yet to come!

With renewed joy in my heart I leave you with the assurance that as you too continue to relax in the precious arms of the Holy Ghost, the best is yet to come in your lives as well!

The Almighty God is with us!

Church Audit: No One Detained, Victimized in The SCOAN

TB Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV, Evelyn Joshua

The leadership of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) said no person is in detention or being victimized over the ongoing audit of the church.

SCOAN clarified a statement on Sunday signed by its Head of Legal Department, Mr James Akhigbe, to disabuse public perception of misguided information being peddled on social media.

The church debunked social media reports about the arrest and detention of some disciples of the Church by the newly appointed SCOAN Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairperson and Leader of the Church, Mrs Evelyn TB. Joshua.

Henceforth, SCOAN wants the public and friends of the church to disregard such reports as they are untrue.

“It is a narrative conjured by detractors to discredit the Church.

“We stand in the light and we cannot compromise the ideal and legacy of our mentor and founder, late Senior Prophet TB Joshua on integrity, spiritual worship, unconditional love and humanitarianism.

“The public will recall that on Sept. 9TH 2021, the Board Of Trustees BOT of SCOAN appointed Mrs Evelyn TB Joshua widow of the late founder, its Chairperson.

“This followed an order of the Federal High Court in Suit No. FHC/L/CP/1109/2021 which appointed Mrs Evelyn TB.Joshua as a Trustee.

“The BOT had also appointed Mrs TB Joshua as the new leader of the Church with ratification by not less than 2,000 congregations of the Church at a meeting on Thursday, Sept.9, 2021.”

“The church leadership took steps to secure certain critical assets of the Church with an authorisation for a comprehensive audit of the activities of the SCOAN since the founder passed away.

“This inventory involved some category of church workers including Disciples and it is being carried out objectively under a regular and normal environment without any harassment of persons.

“Contrary to the falsehood now being peddled by mischief makers in the media the audit is not to intimidate anyone as it is to strengthen the organisation,” it said. (NAN)

THE ENDLESS HATRED FOR PROPHET TB JOSHUA

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Prophet, Emmanuel TV, Anointing water

In John 17, Jesus prayed that his followers would be one. The unity He mentioned here is not necessarily achieved by mere talking but through the Holy Spirit. It is the unity of spirit, heart, purpose, destiny; this is unity founded and rooted in love and not on race, age, status, language, class, social level, backgrounds, denomination and churches.

This shows that unity among the broader body of Jesus Christ is very important to Jesus. Sadly, even when He prayed for unity, division and persecution; hatred is what we experience daily.

The Christian world has allowed religious people and the enemies of Jesus to have the upper hand on their journey of righteousness. But, Prophet TB Joshua refused to be a conformist and did not allow himself to be captured by these enemies of love and unity, hence the negative attitude towards him.

Prophet TB Joshua once said: “What they understand, they destroy but what they don’t understand they call names”.

So, the predisposition of these leaders toward self-deception, coupled with satan’s pervasive and deceptive influence as well as turning a blind eye on God’s Word, is a major barrier to their understanding of Prophet TB Joshua.

As they profess to be “Christians”, it is expected that they will use the Word of God as a reference to judge TB Joshua but it seems not to be the case.

The most interesting thing about these people is whether they understand the Word of God or not or they just ignore it. What they don’t realize is that failing to understand the Word of God is failing to understand God himself because He is the Word. So people of God should not be surprised to hear what is said about TB Joshua. If they are failing to understand God, and His Word, we should not expect them to understand Prophet TB Joshua.

Jesus said in John 15:18-25: “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.”

If Jesus Christ was hated here on earth, what do we expect from a servant of Christ-like Prophet TB Joshua?

Like all the saints, the crime TB Joshua committed was to follow God’s commands and His ways as well as prove to the world that Jesus still heals and deliver.

He taught his followers to worship God only, to trust God only, to have faith in God only and not man, to worship God willingly and genuinely as well as giving, loving, forgiving and praying the way Jesus want us to.

This has attracted great attention on Prophet TB Joshua. With followership and love from multitudes of all kinds, races and classes from all over the world.

On the other hand, he exposed his haters who are in the business of misleading people of God in the name of Jesus. Instead of uniting with TB Joshua to promote the kingdom of God, they started attacking him.

The good thing about this is that while the persecutions and hatred increase, he continues to follow the path of love, patience and forbearance knowing that he is only accountable to God and this is the reason we didn’t see him fighting back even to his last day on earth.

As it is written in (Titus 1:10): “There are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers”.

Therefore, you and I should know that no one and NO CHURCH is in any position to pass judgment on "God's Chosen Vessel".

Scriptural History shows profusely that every true Prophet and Messenger of God was mostly misunderstood and finally rejected by all except a bare minority that God used them to minister to.

Jesus was mostly persecuted by the religious establishment working with governments, which mainly reflected the values and goals of the world in opposition to God. We should not forget that one may be religious and very much part of the world.

So if you find yourself asking why TB Joshua is hated you will be contradicting what Jesus said. The hatred of TB Joshua by this world which is currently under satanic control is simply an evident and a guarantee that he has been chosen by Christ and this has put him into direct conflict with satan.

I have always wondered if these so-called ministers of the gospel that show hatred towards TB Joshua realize that they are failing our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ because the validity of His ministry was and is based on unity and love of His people and this unity helps the world to believe that the Father sent Him, the Son.

These so-called followers of Jesus, are doing more damage to the Church than the unbelievers.

How will the world believe in Jesus Christ when Christian bodies are promoting what is contrary to what Jesus represent and His prayers for us in John 17:21. Are these people reading the same Holy Bible we read, do they worship the same Jesus Christ who died on the cross for me and them?

No wonder Jesus said in Matthew 7:15-20: “by their fruits, you will know them”.

Jesus' words here are a powerful warning that many are coming in His name but are actively and deliberately seeking to lead us away from the truth.

If they were living in the days of John the Baptist, they were not going to recognize him as a true Prophet of God because John came apart from every school of religious thought. He was not a priest, though he was entitled by birth to be one.

Like Prophet TB Joshua, no mentor, not educated either formally or religiously by men and not belonging to any Christian body in Nigeria and the world over. I am talking about a man who fasted forty days and night seeking God opinion about his calling. He was chosen by God Almighty; filled with the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb, and that same Spirit that taught him everything is behind what is manifesting in SCOAN today including distance is not a barrier prayer session which is for free.

TB Joshua, The SCOAN, Prophet, Emmanuel TV, Anointing water
The of Prophet TB Joshua Legacy Lives On

Following the fake news that is being spread on Social Media about an alleged succession battle over who will be the next General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) since the demise of Prophet TB Joshua.

The SCOAN has now officially released a statement from their official Social Media pages to debunk the rumour to be completely false and should therefore be disregarded.

The statements make it clear that there was an instruction by the Prophet before his demise and that is what they will follow concerning how the SCOAN will be run.

This is, however, not the first time there has been circulation of fake news since the demise of Prophet T.B. Joshua about who will take over from him.

There was the news that some imaginary elders and a group of family members come together to agree to appoint the Prophet wife, Evelyn Joshua to take over as the new General overseer of The SCOAN.

This was around when the wife of the Prophet and the entire SCOAN family were still mourning and preparing for the burial celebration of the Prophet.

It is important the Public know that SCOAN is an Apostolic Ministry that is led by the Spirit of God.

The SCOAN doesn't operate by man-made conventions and theory. Every action in the SCOAN is subject to the directive of the Holy Ghost.

So also is concerning the new leadership of the SCOAN, it will not be based on public opinion, men's emotions, convention and perceptions, it will be based on the directive of the spirit of God.

We understand these are very important moments for the ministry of SCOAN.

We pray for God to grant those at the SCOAN Headquarter the grace to continue to be submissive to His perfect Will in Jesus’ Name! Amen!

Below is the SCOAN official statement:

I love the ‘evil’ of Prophet T.B Joshua

TB Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

As we bury T.B Joshua today, we must not bury some of the Christ-like virtues that made him outstanding.

I kept thinking throughout the night – was this how Jesus came, performed miracles, fed the poor, healed the sick and did other good works, but the people despised, hated and killed him? I am not equating any man to Jesus, but T.B Joshua demonstrated more Christ-like virtues than many “God’s Chief Registrars, Chiefs of Staff to Jesus, Assistant God, Deputy God” parading our pulpits today as “masters of the universe”.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but were silent on his matrimonial success. He had just one wife and they were married for 31 years… This is Christ-like.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but were silent when he fed the poor, built hospitals and schools, responded to humanitarian needs on our streets… This is Christ-like.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but kept mute on his humility to board the same coastal bus with his team to go for outreaches. This is Christ-like because even Jesus Christ boarded the same boat with his disciples.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was but kept silent when he brought peace to South Sudan. He was a peacemaker. “Blessed are the Peacemakers…”. This is Chris-like.

Not until his death did I know his wife and even children because he never projected his family. His life and preachings projected Christ more than anything else.

He was Christ-like more than many of his critics whose followers know the “Man of God” than they know the God of men. Whose followers know their ‘father in the Lord’ than they know Christ.

People of the World, please show me one T.B Joshua’s enemy. The same people calling him fake have fellow brethren they call enemies. The same people calling him false prophet have fellow ‘genuine’ pastors that they are not in talking terms with. The same people calling him ‘evil’ have fellow Christians they wish death upon… Between these people and T.B Joshua, who is more like Christ?

If Prophet T.B Joshua was ‘evil’ and he healed the sick, fed the poor, built hospitals, schools and houses for the needy, brought peace to nations of the earth, then I like his kind of ‘evil.’

Rest in Peace Prophet T.B Joshua!

The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV, TB Joshua

In honour of the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua, the Emmanuel TV Team is currently on a mission of charity to deprived and less privileged communities in Lagos State, Nigeria. The first port of call is the ‘Alaba Rago Home For The Needy’ - a Muslim community comprising of the blind, lepers and physically challenged.

One of the community leaders explained how all the residents were in shock and shed tears upon learning of the divine call home of Prophet TB Joshua following an announcement on the radio with a message of condolence from President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Your loss is our loss because Prophet TB Joshua has been helping this community for years. He is a Christian but he is a man who loves everyone - whether you are a Muslim, Christian or Pagan. We want to plead with you to continue supporting us in the same way he has been helping us all these years,” he said.

The Emmanuel TV Team presented 200 bags of rice and a cash gift of N1,000,000 to the community, assuring them that the relationship Prophet TB Joshua had established and the commitment of the ministry to works of charity would continue.

“Someone out there is waiting for you for a lifetime. You cannot afford to fail them; failing them is failing God. Remember, God is speaking to you through them, saying:

‘They are fatherless, so that you can be their father’.

‘They are lonely, so that you can be their companion’.

‘They are in want, so that you can be their benefactor’.”
