When God speaks, the wise listen. Arguably, the leading
prophetic voice in Nigeria to date is the Prophet T.B. Joshua.
Interestingly, though sleeping in the Lord, his Prophetic messages are still potent.
In a throwback video released online and obtained from the
BOLD MISSION page, the Prophet has already given a sure prophetic warning
concerning the current political situation in Nigeria. In the trending video,
the clergy whose transition to glory clocked one on Sunday, June 5th, 2022
predicted there will be a leadership tussle regarding who will be the Presidential
candidate of the ruling party, APC
He also gave a Prophetic message for the Opposition party,
PDP. Except….
This is a message for Nigeria. There will be a leadership
tussle on who will lead and who will be the Presidential candidate in the APC
and this will affect APC as a Political Party. They should be vigilant. Many
are not part of them but they are with them. I repeat again. They should be
vigilant. Many are not part of them but they are with them. That is, many are
with them in flesh but not with them in spirit. They should be vigilant. It’s a
culture, when they hear this, work on it and pray about it. At last, the PDP
will pay any price to unite. They will pay any price to unite. I don’t know the
price that they will pay but this is what God showed me. That is about PDP.
This area is concerning me and concerning you and is very
sensitive. Listen to that: Many of the key leaders of political parties will go
down. What will happen will result in the correction of the corruption
situation in Nigeria. Many corrupt leaders will go down. The beginner is not
the owner but the finisher!
We read in Luke Chapter 10: 1-2 how Jesus appointed
seventy disciples and sent them two by two to go into every city and place He
would come. Jesus said o them, "The harvest truly is great, but the
labourers are few: pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that he would
send forth labourers into his harvest". This was the Lord Jesus Christ's
grand work. Jesus is bringing both physical and spiritual restoration to this
dying and decaying world. As a worker in the field, it is necessary first to be
transformed so that we can participate in Jesus' work of salvation.
Jesus has explained these concepts clearly in
Matthew (13:38-39). Jesus explains that the field is the world, the good seeds
are the children of the kingdom, and the tares are the children of the wicked
one. The enemy that sowed tares is the devil. The harvest is the end of the
world and the reapers are the angels.
The Prophet TB Joshua, Founder of the Synagogue
Church of All Nations (SCOAN), and our celebrant of June 5th have been one of
the Labourers sent out to work in the field. His impact, his teaching and how
he has fought gallantly with the enemy of God that is sowing tares around, is
what we are celebrating. It is necessary also for each labourer to look inward
and depend solely on God's Promise of the Holy Spirit and the Sword of the
Spirit. Jesus is sending us out but Jesus is coming behind us too. He isn't
leaving us alone. There is no place for laziness, complacency, or relying on
resources outside Jesus' provision. On some occasions, Jesus says we shouldn't
take anything extra but at other times to put on the whole armour of God,
(Ephesians 6:11).
As we mark the First Anniversary of our beloved
Prophet TB Joshua, (maybe as his wife, children, those who learned under him
for several years, those he was able to touch in one way or so, those who merely
follow him on Emmanuel TV and Partners, even his critics and adversaries), let
us not forget to work sufficiently hard in God's harvest field. TB Joshua was
an effective pastor, prophet, church leader, preacher, and a man filled with
the Holy Ghost. Any other Church, different from SCOAN, would have been
fortunate to have him lead their congregation. He was able to bring Jesus into
action and he contributed to the harvest. Unfortunately, the right workers are
still very few indeed today. We ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers
into His harvest field.

Sunday, June 5, 2022, will mark the first
anniversary and celebration of the life and time of the Founder of the
Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua. He passed away on
Saturday, June 5, 2021, just seven days before his 58th birthday. On any human
scale, it would have been an immeasurable loss to the Church, the family, the
devastating disciples and followers, and the national and international
communities. Even Arigidi Akoko, his home town couldn't believe he could die.
Hence His Royal Highness, the Saki of Arigidi, declared all markets and shops
to close immediately on hearing the news.
Less than a year after, SCOAN, led by the Prophet's
wife, Mama Evelyn Joshua, is moving on because the cause for which TB Joshua
has come to represent does not allow for mourning or to be sorrowful
about. His life can only be celebrated
because it is a life devoted entirely to the service of God and humanity, and
such that people can see Christ in action. He made the mission of Jesus easier
and clearer for people to appreciate. He would dress simply, and mingle freely
and humbly with people. His teachings are simple, Biblical, and relate to
everyday life without unnecessary ceremonies or rituals. We see Jesus Christ in
him. No wonder his wife could step in as if nothing has happened because of the
openness and sincerity of the purpose of the original mission. It is a
celebration of the life of a worthy prophet of God with a mission. Therefore we
are less sad. In all this God has a purpose in everything and unto God, we
commit everything including each soul. We must all join our faith together as
one united in Christ, to pray for the perfection of what God has started in
SCOAN, even under the leadership of Evelyn Joshua.
As we celebrate this great prophet of our time we
equally remember not just the SCOAN in Lagos but every offshoot and work of TB
Joshua. In particular, we remember every disciple that learned under the
prophet, praying for a renewed, fresh and abundant anointing on them and their
ministries. Prophet TB Joshua had crusades around the world. Our prayers also
go to those who through this crusade activity gave their lives to Jesus. The
goal of Prophet TB Joshua is that Jesus must be honoured as the kingdom of God
expands on earth. Also that everyone will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus
Christ through the Word demonstrated in deliverance, prophecy, healing,
teaching and compassionate giving. Prophet TB Joshua's disciples will do well
to let love lead them and be guided by the Word of God every moment, even in
this perilous time. Jesus has promised to send the Promise of the Father to
clothe us with power from above, (Luke 24:49). May you receive the fullness of
the Holy Ghost Power in your daily life.
Just as we believe that the life of Prophet TB
Joshua was to fulfil God's mission even so we individually must wait on God our
heavenly father to send us out on our divine missions. Meanwhile, TB Joshua
will remain a rallying point for many Christians around the globe from now to
eternity. This alone is a major reason for celebration. Unless we are blessed,
favoured and given from above no Christian leader can achieve this status
Prophet TB Joshua has achieved. Apostle John said it better when he said,
"A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven",
(John 3:27). Therefore we shall continually rejoice and celebrate all the
memory we have had knowing Temitope Balogun Joshua. It has been a big privilege
having first-hand contact and knowledge about him. Yet the best is yet to come
to SCOAN or any of his offshoot ministries.

There have
been videos circulating on social media showing supposed disciples of TB Joshua
packing their belongings out of the SCOAN. Those packing were alleged to have
been evicted by our Mummy, Mrs Evelyn Joshua, the wife of Prophet TB Joshua.
This latest episode is being purported to be part of a leadership tussle going
on at the SCOAN.
Why one would
have chosen to remain silent from this falsehood been spread by mischief makers
who have been imagining a leadership tussle which in reality is non-existing,
but for the sake of clarifying to the public who may be misled by this
falsehood and start making false judgment hence this clarification.
It is
important to know that there is no leadership tussle at the SCOAN and Mrs
Evelyn Joshua did not evict TB Joshua’s disciples out of the SCOAN.
Those who are
alleged to have left SCOAN left there at their own accord. Mrs Evenly Joshua is
a kind-hearted mother with an embodiment of love just as her husband Prophet TB
Joshua, she is not taken any revenge on anyone or trying to position herself as
the general overseer of the SCOAN.
We must
recognize the fact that she has a legal claim to everything at the SCOAN,
including becoming the spiritual head as the general overseer. She is, however,
not desperate for any position instead she has to commit everything under God’s
will.
Mrs Evelyn
Joshua was recently confirmed as one of the trustees of the SCOAN, by the
Church constitution there are three trustees since the husband demise it is
normal for her the wife to take her husband place as the trustees and this is
part of the state law for organisations that are regulated by the Corporate
Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria.
This position
as one of the trustees of the SCOAN is to fulfil all righteousness following
the state laws. Mrs Evelyn Joshua has never claim to be the new general
overseer of the SCOAN, she called her position “human Leadership” of the
Church.
That alone is
to confirm her sense of humility and to buttress the fact that she is open to
God’s will and not in any way in a hurry or desperate to make herself the
general overseer of the SCOAN.
Normally, not
every one of TB Joshua’s disciples and Church workers may want to work with the
new leadership at the SCOAN and those that are leaving are doing it at their
own will and not that they are being evicted has been reported in the News and
social media.
It is also
important we understand that those that are leaving are not in any way bad
persons it’s just their personal decision which every one of us most respect.
They are still our brethren in the vineyard of Christ and we all have to always
put them in our prayers.
As it stands
right now, Mrs Evelyn Joshua needs all our support, prayers and love. She has
made us understand in her speech that SCOAN is open to everyone.
We pray for
God’s wisdom upon our mummy, Mrs Evenly Joshua in the cause of her new "human
leadership" position in piloting the affair of the SCOAN. We as well pray
for more understanding and unity of purpose amongst the disciples, workers and
SCOAN family worldwide.
The gate of
hell shall not prevail against the Church.
“One of the big secrets of my life I want to share with you – all these crusades you see me doing around the world such as in Singapore, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru etc. – I pay most of the money. We don’t control the Holy Spirit! Let me pray for whom God wants me to pray for. Don’t pay and then start bringing your brother, sister or cousin for prayer. If you pay for the stadium for me, you will collect money from big businessmen that are sick – they will be the ones you arrange in front, telling me, 'Pray for this one, Man of God – he is the one who paid seventy percent of the money'. God cannot cooperate with or support such an arrangement. Or you are telling me to come out at 8am when the Spirit of God said I should come out at 10am. My accommodation – I don’t let them know where I am going to lodge. After the crusade, you can know where I am living but before and during the crusade, I will not allow you to come to me. You cannot see me until after the crusade.
“I will enter your country with money and I will go out of the country and not take your money out of the country; it is a rule and regulation because the grace is not for sale. My joy is to see people healed; my joy is to see people delivered; my joy is to see people blessed. That is my money. Each person that is delivered is more than $20,000 to me! Imagine in each crusade how many people are delivered! That is the money God gives me - the joy to sleep in peace. You need to know what it means if God uses you to heal and deliver people. If you know what it means, you will want to heal and deliver people all the time. If you know what it means – the joy in God using you to deliver people – you will never ask the people you deliver to bring money. Even if they want to give you, you will beg them not to destroy your life.
“If you know what it is for God to use you to set someone free from their problems – it’s more than a trillion dollars. Don’t wait for the person to say, ‘Thank you’. That is why, after praying for you, I quickly leave. God has given me something more than ‘Thank you!” If God uses you to remove the pain of one, you are more than a millionaire. You believe your reward is money – no! If money is your gain, you are robbing yourself. That money is insufficient; it cannot give you peace. Money cannot buy you peace. If money could give you peace, many of you would not be here today. That is why you just see me at Ikotun-Egbe. From Ikotun-Egbe – look at the glory of God!” - Prophet TB Joshua
"The Bible says, 'I will set
a table before you in the presence of your enemies'. If your enemy is not
there, the table will be useless. It's good for your enemy to see what you
become. What they thought you cannot become - it's good for your enemy to see.
They thought you cannot become this or that - it is better they see for
themselves. That may change them and win their soul! A good example of what I
am talking about is we here in the church today. If we begin to examine the
conscience of everyone here and look at the past - at least 50% never thought
they would come here. You had a different impression about T.B. Joshua. You
stood in opposition towards T.B. Joshua in the past but today, you are alive to
see that he is your friend, not your enemy. If you had died then, would you be
able to see this?
What is the way out? Pray for
your enemy! Prayer from your heart, not from your lips. If you choose the path
of praying for your enemy, you will have a great relief. Because you are
running to defeat your enemy, it has taken you to many places - spiritually,
physically and financially. It has caused you sleepless nights - fear, anxiety,
pressure. Every bad thing that happens to you -when you have nightmare - you attribute
it to your enemy. The pain you are going through - it's not your enemy that is
going through it but you. Why can't you ignore your enemy and move forward?
Pray for them! You are the one going through the pain.
When you begin to chase your
enemies, you will automatically forget the condition in which you are - because
it's not possible to look at two sides. I am going through pain that the enemy
caused - and at the same time I am pursuing the enemy that caused it. I will
ignore the pain. The pain will be there but how to take care of myself will be
ignored. This is why our pain persists. The situation that you are supposed to
go through within a week, you are on it for the past one year - because you
ignore your condition and you are pursuing your enemies
The bigger your success, the
bigger your enemies. Why are you wasting your time when you know it's a normal
life? You go through your trial according to your position and I will go
through my trial according to my position. It is our position that attracts
trials. Your position in life attracts persecution. If your position is big, it
will attract big trials. Big blessing will attract big trials. You don't want
trials; you don't want success in life. When people talk about you - 'He is a
foolish man; she is a foolish woman' - you know it's a recognition! What you
are going through should not rule your life. What you are going through does
not matter but what matters is whom you are."
Most of us watched the burial ceremonies
of our beloved Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All
Nations, SCOAN, from the distance. Many can't even watch because of the
emotional attachment and the sweet memories shared with this great man of God.
Truly Prophet TB Joshua Lives on in our hearts and in different peoples and
communities he was able to impact. He was able to put a significant stamp on
the future of the Christian Faith in particular and faith in general. He made a great contribution to future
missionary generations. He made people feel that their lives mattered and that
every life is significant with its mission. That he was buried away has not
reduced the effects of his teachings and his works. Rather his life and time have
become an index, a benchmark, a biblical reference point. Unfortunately, his
critics have to sit up and reflect on their missions in life, otherwise, life
will sweep them away and nobody will remember them.
A Bible verse we'd learned from Sunday
School as a song is Romans 10 verse 9. Romans 10:9. It says that "If thou
shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved". Prophet TB
Joshua expanded on it to mean that, "There is power in your mouth, the
belief in your heart, realized by faith...". He was able to accomplice
many miracles holding to this biblical principle.
Prophet TB Joshua also introduced many
powerful spirit-lifting songs. One of them is that "Sin Power Over Me is
Broken". This has become a popular lyric and translated into many
languages and dialects. It will live on forever as part of songs of
encouragement and life assurance. Nobody can take this away from TB Joshua by
their wired wishful conspiracy theory thinking. The prophet is leaving us with
many writings, songs, teachings, and evangelical lifestyle that touches the
sinners and common people on the streets. The institutions he built are
rational, accessible and affordable to the entire human race.
We have been praying to God to give us
the strength to accept this death as coming from Him because just as Jesus
matters to the human race, entire Palestine and the Jews in it so has Prophet
TB Joshua brought renewed light of Jesus Christ's teaching. In the coming days,
and through the power of the Holy Spirit, the bigger legacy of TB JOSHUA will
become much more widespread and real. His disciples will prove this through the
promise of the Father when they are clothed with power from on high, (Luke
24:49).
TB JOSHUA LIVES ON AND THANK YOU JESUS

The remains
of Prophet TB Joshua was interred yesterday, 10th July 2021 in the premises of
The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Ikotun, Lagos State, after
week-long funeral rites, activities tagged: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of
Prophet Joshua (1963 to 2021) – Not Mine But God’s Own.
Thousands of
Faithfull from different races, cultures and countries who attended the
interment service described the Prophet as a man who lived for God and
humanity.
One of the
high of the internment was when a lady under the influence of the Holy Ghost
prophesied just after the remains of the Prophet was being taken inside the
SCOAN Auditorium saying “He is so powerful; he said I should tell you that he
is not dead; he is around you all, he said you should not be afraid, he is with
you…” and the congregation shouted, Amen!!
Dignitaries who
witnessed the colourful interment included Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi
Akeredolu; Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan; Governor of Lagos
State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by Lagos State Commissioner for
Home Affairs; Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State; Dame Patience Jonathan,
wife of Former President Good Luck Jonathan; Mr Anofiu Elegushi; Ooni of Ife,
Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II represented by his wife, Olori Silekunola
Naomi; a delegation from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN); Bashorun
Dele Momodu, CEO/ Publisher, Ovation magazine; Chief David Lyon, former
governorship candidate in Bayelsa State; Mr Zaied Abdalla, from Israel were
among dignitaries that were in attendance when Prophet TB Joshua remains was
laid to rest in the SCOAN.
The first
Bible reading was taken from First Corinthians 15: 51 – 57 and was read by
Governor Akeredolu, after which Bishop Stephen Ogedengbe of the Wisdom of
Chapel Ministry explained the passage.
The cleric
urged Christians to emulate the exemplary life of love lived by Prophet TB
Joshua.
Ogedengbe
said: “The character of a true believer is to find refuge in our Lord Jesus.
That is why children of God are not afraid in reaching the final destination –
death. Heaven is our home, our dwelling place.”
According to
him, Joshua had always mentioned that those from above longed to be there.
Minister
Ayoub Kara from Israel took the second Bible reading from Revelation 21: 1-7,
while Pastor Robert Acosta from Argentina preached a sermon from it.
Acosta said
that Christians should follow Christ “because outside Jesus there is no
reality.”
He said that
Joshua did so many miracles and showed much love to many people.
After the
sermon, Akeredolu and the representative of Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State
delivered speeches.
Sanwo-Olu
told the congregation that the late prophet fulfilled his destiny on earth by
living for others.
He encouraged
Christians to long for the spirit of dedication as shown by the SCOAN founder.
“His life
should encourage us to renew our hope in Christ. Unity, peace, progress and
love should be our watchword as Christians,” he said.
He urged
Christians to emulate the late prophet’s life and live in peace with everyone
without discriminating.
In his
speech, Akeredolu described the death of Joshua as a huge loss to the people of
Ondo State, Nigeria and the world at large. He revealed that the traditional
ruler of his hometown, Arigidi Akoko in Akoko North local council of Ondo
State, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, had mobilised him to ensure that Joshua’s remains
would be buried in the town.
He noted that
Joshua contributed immensely to the emancipation of the downtrodden, orphans,
widows and other less privileged people.
“Joshua
remains the only person who died and market men and women closed their shops
for one week in his home town. Kabiesi mobilised me for the body of Joshua to
be buried in his hometown because he was convinced that we should bring the
body to Arigidi. And I said to Kabiesi that our late prophet has a family and
where his remains will lie is for the family to decide not for him.
“I have to
let you know that prophet T.B. Joshua came from Arigidi, Ondo State. He is a
Nigerian but doesn’t take it away; he is a world citizen,” he said.
Speaking on
Joshua’s impact in Ondo State, he recalled that when he was first elected as
the governor of the state, the prophet gave his family a huge amount of money,
adding that he also paid up the electricity bills of four local councils who
were in darkness for years.
“T.B.
Joshua’s demise is not only a loss to Ondo State or the world, it is a loss to
humanity. I am not sure we have had a world congregated in this number from
different countries, probably during Nelson Mandela’s burial. But the world is
more represented here than when Nelson Mandela was buried,” Akeredolu added.
After the
final laying to rest of the Prophet, there was a replay of the Prophet TB
Joshua Mass prayer and there were manifestations of the power of God with many
falling under the influence of the Holy Ghost, vomiting poisonous substance and
receiving their healings in Jesus’ name.
These brought
Joy to the congregation who started singing; He is Alive Amen!! Jesus is Alive,
Forever He is Alive Amen!!
As we bury T.B Joshua today, we must not bury some of the Christ-like virtues that made him outstanding.
I kept thinking throughout the night – was this how Jesus came, performed miracles, fed the poor, healed the sick and did other good works, but the people despised, hated and killed him? I am not equating any man to Jesus, but T.B Joshua demonstrated more Christ-like virtues than many “God’s Chief Registrars, Chiefs of Staff to Jesus, Assistant God, Deputy God” parading our pulpits today as “masters of the universe”.
They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but were silent on his matrimonial success. He had just one wife and they were married for 31 years… This is Christ-like.
They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but were silent when he fed the poor, built hospitals and schools, responded to humanitarian needs on our streets… This is Christ-like.
They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but kept mute on his humility to board the same coastal bus with his team to go for outreaches. This is Christ-like because even Jesus Christ boarded the same boat with his disciples.
They told us how ‘evil’ he was but kept silent when he brought peace to South Sudan. He was a peacemaker. “Blessed are the Peacemakers…”. This is Chris-like.
Not until his death did I know his wife and even children because he never projected his family. His life and preachings projected Christ more than anything else.
He was Christ-like more than many of his critics whose followers know the “Man of God” than they know the God of men. Whose followers know their ‘father in the Lord’ than they know Christ.
People of the World, please show me one T.B Joshua’s enemy. The same people calling him fake have fellow brethren they call enemies. The same people calling him false prophet have fellow ‘genuine’ pastors that they are not in talking terms with. The same people calling him ‘evil’ have fellow Christians they wish death upon… Between these people and T.B Joshua, who is more like Christ?
If Prophet T.B Joshua was ‘evil’ and he healed the sick, fed the poor, built hospitals, schools and houses for the needy, brought peace to nations of the earth, then I like his kind of ‘evil.’
In the late evening of Monday 5th July 2021, there was a minor electrical fire incident at a store house within The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) complex. The incident was quickly brought under control without any injuries.
As part of the preparedness for the weeklong services celebrating the life and legacy of
Prophet TB Joshua, The SCOAN has worked closely with relevant government agencies including the Lagos State Fire Services, whose members were on ground at the time of the incident.
We thank God for His continued protection. We assure the general public that there is no cause for alarm and the services celebrating the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua will continue as scheduled.
“Nothing outside God’s control can happen to His children.” - TB Joshua
