In honour of the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua, the
Emmanuel TV Team is currently on a mission of charity to deprived and less
privileged communities in Lagos State, Nigeria. The first port of call is the
‘Alaba Rago Home For The Needy’ - a Muslim community comprising of the blind,
lepers and physically challenged.
One of the community leaders explained how all the residents
were in shock and shed tears upon learning of the divine call home of Prophet
TB Joshua following an announcement on the radio with a message of condolence
from President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Your loss is our loss because Prophet TB Joshua has been
helping this community for years. He is a Christian but he is a man who loves
everyone - whether you are a Muslim, Christian or Pagan. We want to plead with
you to continue supporting us in the same way he has been helping us all these
years,” he said.
The Emmanuel TV Team presented 200 bags of rice and a cash
gift of N1,000,000 to the community, assuring them that the relationship
Prophet TB Joshua had established and the commitment of the ministry to works
of charity would continue.
“Someone out there is waiting for you for a lifetime. You
cannot afford to fail them; failing them is failing God. Remember, God is
speaking to you through them, saying:
‘They are fatherless, so that you can be their father’.
‘They are lonely, so that you can be their companion’.
‘They are in want, so that you can be their benefactor’.”
- Prophet TB Joshua
